How many pluses on the 4day hopper plus?

We are thinking about trying this on our next trip. But there is no description of the 4 day park hopper plus listed that I can find. Anyone know? Thanks!

4 day hopper plus gives you 1 plus visit for the waterparks or Pleasure Island or Wide world of sports. They never expire.

There is always one plus option on a 4 day PHP no matter where you bought it. What you get with the plus depends on where you buy the ticket.

Normal 4 day PHP's purchased from ticket wholesalers will have what benebire described above.

Tickets purchased through conventions and sports channels will give you one plus that is not good at the water parks or WWoS. It is only good at PI or DQ (yes, DQ!). The downside to these, besides the restricted sale nature of them, is that they do carry expiration dates. The sports tickets expire after a 14 day use window (7 before, 7 after) from the sports event. The convention tickets expire in December of the year you buy them.

Has something been changed recently? I thought the four day hopper was a theme parks only pass and the lowest "plus" hopper was a five-day.

You are correct, for the tickets sold by Disney. But, places like Ticketmania has 4 days plus 1 for sale. In fact, it does not appear they sell a 4 day without the plus.

Disney often does special tickets that aren't normally available for sale to the general public. That's what the 4 day PHP's are. You are correct that if you walk up to a Disney ticket booth, you will only be able to get a plain 4 day PH, not a PHP.

But you can often get 4 day PHP's as well as 3 day PHP's on occasion through the wholesalers. Supply varies depending on Disney's current offerings to the wholesalers. Conventions can even get 2 day PHP's to sell.
