How many pictures do YOU take?

We took about 200 on our last trip, I'd have taken more but my kids were getting tired of posing for pics

Last August I took 520 with just me and a friend and no kids. I am sure when I add the kids and increse the nights from 6 to 8 I will easily double that amount. There is just so much at Disney to take pictures of and you never want to have to choose whether or not to take a picture because you are running low on memory space! princess:

I can get 5000 or so on one DVD in my DVD camera at low quality (which is really nice) I can get about 1700 on the DVD at High Quality.

I can also get up to 1 hour of Video on a disc (High quality about 20 min)

Discs cost about $2 each and if you get the -RW discs, you can reuse them after dumping all the stuff on your hard disc or a standard DVD.

We average several hundred photos a day (the camera has a burst feature that will keep shooting until you take your finger off the trigger). You can never take too many pictures.

we will be there for 5 days. I have 1 gb card that holds 504 pics and I bought 4 more.
Still don't think it will be enough. I love taking pics and usually take several to pick out the best one.

i take 150 - 200 at birthday's and christmas so I am hoping 2500 - 3000 is enough for me.
I think it might not be.

The first cruise we went on, I took almost 400 pics.
The best advice I got was to get an extra memory card and
alternate days on each card.
that way if something happens to one card you don't lose
everything.

Last trip we used both our film camera and digital until it was full. Speaking from experience, it would be better to be over prepared than to have to purchase camera supplies there. We ran out of film (even though I thought I had purchased way more than enough) and we paid through the nose for more. But you can't put a price on those pictures!! Get the extra card and fill it up!

This time - digital only, and I went shopping for extra memory cards just yesterday!!

have a great trip!

I was just curious about this. How many pictures do you generally take on your trip(s) to WDW? I have a digital camera (just a plain ol' Kodak Easyshare) and just bought a 1 GB memory card that hold 764 pictures, plus the existing 126 mb (or is it 128?? I can't remember) which holds 97 pictures. I only had a film camera in 2004 and took close to 200 pictures then and we didn't see NEARLY what we'll see this go around.

In my "film days" I used a Canon EOS1 and never went with less than 10 rolls of film; usally more.

My wife has an original Canon Digital Rebel (6MP) and I have a Canon XTi (10MP). I have several 1GB cards and one 2GB. She has has several cards as well. We never come back now with an empty card.

It is too cheap to have lots of high quality images to not take lots of shots. Each visit to me is a TOAL (trip of a lifetime) and I want to remember them all.
