how many pics do you take?

I took over 150 today (about 136 keepers) today in four hours at EPCOT!!!

EPCOT 5-12-06

I am local and go to the parks regularly, but I always come away with at least 100 pics per day, but I am always looking for new things and different shots/angles of things I've already photographed!

We have been home a week from our recent trip. I took over 600 pictures this time. I cant believe I took that many. But, I    DISNEY!!! I probably could of taking more but, I ran out of chips for my camera. What a bummer that was :furious: :furious: !! Next time I will have two more chips that are gigs..

We took about 400 pictures. I bought a gigabyte memory card (i dont know if thats how you spell it) for my camera and it holds up to 1000 pictures on best quality. WELL WORTH THE MONEY! I plan on taking alot more pictures this year! :)

We were there for 8 days and took over 1600 pictures on the digitals, that doesn't include photopass!!! We take a lot with the digital because you have nothing to lose!!

First trip with the Nikon D70 I took 3500 in 5 days, so about 700 a day. That was with my 1gb card. I just received my 2gb card in the mail today for my June trip. :teeth:

I love my D70, when the kids are with a character, I don't a A picture...I get 10-15.

What on Earth are you all taking pictures of? I just got a new camera with a large memory card that can hold over 550 pictures on one card. Now I'm beginning to think this isn't enough. Do you take pictures of every ride, character, restaraunt? I love taking pictures. I take about 40 or more each soccer game my 6 year old has. So I do take alot of pictures but I never imagined taking over 500. Hmmmmm! Maybe I should think of getting one more card.

Part of us taking so many pictures is because of our children. One of them ALWAYS turns away just as we take a picture. When we take a picture with a character, we may have to take 3 or 4 before one or both of them look! This is fine because it is nice to get those "natural pictures" where they are in their own world staring up at Mickey Mouse.

A few years ago, we didn't take so many pictures and I always regreted that and I guess we have gone to the extreme. But with a digital, you can take a lot because you have nothing to lose.

In my case the shutter release is set to take pictures for as long as I hold the button down. Mostly I take pictures of my 2 children.

Think of it as "spray shooting" Out of all those pictures I'll have maybe 60-70% that are keepers but since it is digital, who cares. I download them to my laptop at the resort hotel and sort through them at the house when I am not on my vacation and have the time.

I am obsessed with photography - I just wish i was better at it! :goodvibes
These boards have given me alot of ideas for angels and techniques so I take ALOT of pics. My last trip was four days long and I took about 1000 pics on my digital (I bring along my lab top to download and clear my memory card every night). I only printed about 350 of them (which is alot for four days) but as I said, I LOVE pictures.

Last May my trip was 8 days long and I took about the same amount of pictures because my memory card was smaller but I did print about 350 of them as well.

So I guess my running printing number is about 350 -but i take a ton more. (DBF spends alot of his day pulling on my arm to keep me moving and not taking 30 pictures of the same thing :teeth: )

I took just over 450 last July :)

ETA: I kept just over 450 - I am sure I TOOK almost double that and deleted many :teeth:

Since going digital, we always come home with about 100-200...but they are all usable and GOOD photos...no crappy ones. Since we can delete the bad ones immediately it helps cut down the number of photos we actually bring home on the mem. cards.

How many digital pics do you take on your trip??? I love pics and plan to take a lot!
We did 280 over a 5 day visit. Digital camera's are wonderful - you can shoot a lot more picutres without worry about the cost of the film and developing.
