How many photo do you take

We went in Nov./Dec. for 9 days and I took about 2000 pictures. I just got a new camera, so I'll probably top that next trip.

We took about 800+ pictures in 6 days. And I wish we took more. As we go through them we come across holes in the coverage.

I am using Comcast Photshow to organize and share them. One show for each day. Once I am done I will burn all of the photshows to a dvd and include that in our Scrap book from this trip.

I also plan to burn all the pictures to DVD also to store.

And hey, no comments about a guy talking about a scrapbook.

On our first trip we went for 1 week and I took about 850 pictures.
On our second trip we went 5 days and I took about 500 pictures.
Of course, I need to figure out how to take the parade photos (at night) while everyone is moving -- mine turned out horrible!!
I love to look through them. Makes me smile! :) :) :)

My first trip 9/2005 I took 28 rolls + 4 disp. (kids used) and I also lost a camera with another roll...so that would be:rolleyes: ... 33 rolls ...expensive!!!
I finally got a digital SLR so I gave up the film...
This past fall, using my digital, we came home with 1000+. My kids used 4 disp.

As you probably guessed...I LOVE pictures and the art of photography:love: !

I borrowed my sisters digital camera and took 100 pictures. We also had about 20 on the Photopass. Most of the pictures I took were of the food hahahahaha

I take probably 250-350 pictures a day... so I would expect our upcoming trip to be nearly 2000 pictures.

Plus, now that I have a digital camera with very good video (Canon S3IS), I will be shooting video with the digicam, instead of taking along a separate camcorder.

We have 2 other digital cameras as well - a small point and shoot canon that my wife uses and a small, inexpensive Kodak that is a birthday present for my 5 year old (it's her birthday the day we arrive).

We have 5 GB of storage on SD cards (3 1GB cards and a 2GB) - but that won't be enough with the video (15 minutes of video fills the 2 GB card).

I'm bringing along my laptop to dump to and an external portable hard drive that I can use to dump the cards in the middle of the day.

Altogether, I'm estimating about 40-50GB of photos and video for the week.

Quite a change from my first Disney trip with a digital camera 9 years ago, when I was there for 10 days - took about 800 photos that all fit in less than 1 GB.

On our last trip, 7 days, I took over a thousand and bought 217 on Photopass. I would have taken more but I filled both of my memory cards. :sad2: This last trip I really wanted to take a lot of scenery pictures but I filled all my space with pics of my family. :goodvibes

We were there for 9 days in December and took around 800 of our own plus 70 photopass pictures. In one day, we averaged around 70 or 80 pictures.

I have to ask...what in the world are y'all taking so many pictures of?!?! I have so many pics of the castle and attractions that I just take pics of family now. I can't imagine taking 1000 pictures in a week's time!

I am one of the 1000 in a weeks time. Dh thinks I am nuts!!

We are big character fans so most of our pictures are of my kids with the characters. I take about 2-5 pictures of each interaction with the characters. Some of my favorite pics are while they are interacting with them, not just smiling at me. That is the bulk of my photo's.

We take character pictures. DH snaps away while I get autographs. He takes about 10 pictures each character.

I am always searching for different angles, and view points of things. Also details that sometimes you don't noctice. Go to the photography board and check out the "Photos the average tourist doesn't take" and you'll see all kinds of really cool pictures.

We are also picture taking freaks. On our last trip , in 10 days, we only took about 900 pics, which is a very low number for us. We usually take an average of 1500 to 1800 pics and when we get home we sort through them and only pic out the best ones. Then from there, if we're going to develope any, we pick the very best from them. I know it's a process but we really enjoy going through all the pics. It's like a hobby for us. And we're always looking for ways to get a better picture.

Is it a hobby or an obsession?? I know it's an obsession for me!! ;) I am constantly setting up shots in my head with or without a camera!!!

My newest hobby is taking pictures with the self timer.....I like to find flat objects that I put my camera on and get pictures of all of us without asking a stranger to take it. Why?? :confused3 Don't know....I guss it just adds one more game to taking pictures....:rolleyes1 I like looking at them and thinking, "I took that one from a trash can" yes, weird I know...but it's fun!!!

We were there earlier this month for 6 full days. This was our (DH and I) 6th trip and DS's 2nd. We took around 500 pictures plus about 80 with photo pass. I ended up printing around 200 total for my scrapbook.

We average between 1000 - 1200 in a week. I bring a laptop and each night download from the CF card to the laptop, and then (because I'm paranoid), I burn that day onto a CD. This way I have two copies of every day as soon as the day is over.

I wear that darn camera everywhere I go in WDW. And because I take the pictures - I'm in relatively few!!!

Someday my kids will ask my wife, "Why didn't Dad ever go with us on our vacations?!?" Sad I know.

I took around 300 pictures altogether for a 6 day trip. There were the four parks, the resort, the characters, the food, the bus, my friends.. I wanted to remember every Disney moment!
