We are going in March and we plan on using it for a few park days, mostly for HS. We will be staying at OKW. Any issues for anyone using these?

Download the app and I found it super easy to use. They came within 10 mins of being called. Very clean cars. Options of several different size vehicles and prices. We rode buses to parks, but used Lyft when going from a dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge back to Wilderness Lodge. Less than $15 and we saved 2 bus transfers and an hour of time

A lot of people are using them. Be aware, if you're not already, that only the Disney buses and their Minnie Vans will drop you off right at the Magic Kingdom. Otherwise you need to request to be dropped off at Bay Lake Towers or The Contemporary. The other parks all drop you off right up front. I would suggest downloading both the Lyft & Uber app, but also the Ride Guru app, it compares prices for both services.

The only time we have used them is when we have a late dinner at a resort to get back to our resort. One time at CG, dinner ended around 10 or so, we were staying at Dolphin. The other time at V&A's, again dinner ended around 10 or so, again we were staying at Dolphin. Otherwise,it's all Disney transportation all the time (and we have a car with us).

Can they drop you at Ticket and Transportation? Probably quicker to do Grand Floridian for a shorter monorail ride over.

Yes, they can -- but if you're going to GF, just put GF as your destination and they'll take you right to the front door.

It's just MK where they cannot take you into the bus dropoff.

@edk35 yep they can, as JimMIA said just put in the destination before you put your request in. The advantage of BLT or CR is you wan easily walk to MK, at least until GF gets the walking path completed.

I used Lyft for the first time in June while in Disney. My mom, who was traveling with us, ended up in the hospital (with a heart attack but we didn't know that at the time) and I needed to bring her a few things. I was nervous about traveling in it by myself so I let my husband know when I was leaving the hospital so he knew about when to expect me

On both Uber and Lyft, there is an easy-to-use feature which lets a trusted person follow your actual ride in real time.

Very easy to use and the cars arrive quickly. They keep you updated with time, driver, car reg, make, model, colour etc.

We used to always rent a car when at Disney and now, thanks to Lyft, we don't bother. We don't love driving around the property by any means, and being able to completely stop driving for the length of our stay is really, really nice. We get a ride from the train station to WDW and back again, and if there's any other time when Disney transportation sounds like it might be a bit lengthy or a bit of a hassle (Resort to resort trips or very early trips to the parks, etc.) we have the option of another quick, easy, inexpensive ride. And between rental fees, gas, and parking fees at the resorts, all of our Lyft rides combined are still the same as or even considerably less than renting a car. :) Win-win for us!

In your opinion, which is the easiest / fastest drop off location for MK for a Small group of experienced Disney adults, No kids, travel light. Would it be poly or GF to get thru security and which has the quickest walk to the station ? Or is it walking from CR?
Looking to avoid a long security line at the park.

Personally, I would Uber to the Contemporary.

I'm not current on security lines, but I think CR would be quicker overall.

Its recommended to Uber/Lyft to Contemporary when going to MK because you can easily walk to MK from Contemporary. You could also Uber to Poly or GF and take the monorail to MK from there, but it may take longer due to waiting for the monorail.

We used it quite a bit on our last trip including to and from the airport. Only good experiences. We typically Minnie Van because we usually have DGS and need a car seat. We have used Uber with car seat before as well.

Last trip (several years ago) there was some concern about taking Uber to Contemporary because the gate guard might not let you through--is that still a thing?
