How many people on campsite......

Is there a limit of people to a campsite??? if so, is there an additional charge per adult??

32 people per site, that is if your talk'n bout a Fort Fiend GG gett'n together for a cook out! (just kidding)

The limit is 10 people per site. Yes they charge xtra per person,,not sure of the price,,I believe its between 2-5 bucks.

tents are allowed at one site? If I have 9 people 4A and 5C how many tents would they let me have? And while I am asking questions, how many cars at the site? This would be our first time camping at Disney.

Only 1 car is allowed at the site. The rest of the cars need to be parked up front in the overflow lot.

A security person told someone on this group once that you can have 2 tents on the site or 1 tent and 1 camper on the site. However, I've had 3 tents on a site for 2 weeks and no one said a word or left me any nasty notes.

Having said that, you WILL need to make sure whatever you put up "fits" on your site. I would recommend you request Loop 2000 as they have the largest sand areas for setting up tent(s).

Thank you! Was just looking for a map for the loops but you just gave me what I wanted to know. "LOOP 2000" How far are the restrooms/bathhouses from the farthest site.

Aha, I found it!! Another member on this board (Tent Camping Mom) claimed she had the farthest campsite from the comfort station in Loop 2000, Site 2050.

"so we're on 2050 (in case anybody wonders,
it's 432 feet from the comfort station to the left
and 432 feet from the comfort station to the right
according to my portable GPSr). In other words,
this is the furthest most site from any comfort station"

So 432 feet is the farthest you will be from a comfort station in Loop 2000.

"There is room to park one vehicle per site (in addition to the camping vehicle) and each site is limited to 10 people. Additional parking is available at the main parking lot. Check-in time for the campsites is 1 p.m., check-out is at 11 a.m. Multiple tents or combinations of campers and tents can occupy a site; however, there is a $2 charge per adult when there are more than two adults per campsite."

Do they charge extra for kids? Our grandkids will be staying with their parents off property but it would be fun if they could spend a couple of nights with us at the fort.

No they don't. You can have two adults and up to 8 kids (17 and under), and no extra charges.

It's when there are more than 2 adults, that the extra charge is incurred.

It's not really necessary to check them in unless you will be taking them on EMH. The only reason to have someone on the reservation is to get them a room key to access the comfort stations after midningt or for "room" charging privileges. You can only have one car at the campsite, so they will have to park in the overflow lot and take the bus back to the site anyway. Unlike many campgrounds, Disney does not charge a "day fee" for visitors, so any of your friends can stop by the campsite anytime without a pass.
