I'm wondering how many people you have converted into being a Disney lover?

My DH and I talk about it so much we've talked half of his office into going in the last five years and now all of them have started to go every other year. I have guests that come in to talk to me specifically to talk about planning diners and if I have any discount codes.

Sometimes I think I talk about it so much I'm adicted..My BIL actually tells people before they come over my house not to say the "D" word unless they are interested in booking a Disney trip :Pinkbounc

Who wouldn't want to be there almost every day?

I've tried to convert people but I've never made anyone into a fanatic on the same level as me. I make sure that I always make sure the people I know get the most out of their WDW trip. Whenever a friend of my parents plan a trip they come over and I give them all the tips and answer any questions they have. Also, when I go to WDW with people I usually end up playing tour guide. I went for a band competition my senior year of high school and at one point I had 15 other students following me. All I needed was one of those flags and I would have been set.

I haven't been able to convert anyone, considerably. I've successfully been able to get them thinking that it's at least half way descent, but alas, I haven't had the luck of getting them to want to go.

Converting them to my level of "Dis'anticism" is something only my dreams can conjure. Heh. Of course, I still have time yet...I'll see how it goes in college; a fresh batch of eager, Disney-ignorant people!

I say let the "Don't know what they are missing" keep in the dark! Shorter lines and smaller crowds for us die hards ;).

Most of my family is 'just coming for the ride', but won't go to Disney without me. I have a girlfriend who wants to take her DD with us so badly she's eating pb&j in order to save money. My parents haven't been in 15 years and have no idea what they are missing.

DH has a buddy at work who marks down the days with him every morning. We have him so converted that he's taking the cruise before us.

I just think it's so funny when you start to talk about it and people hear it and they get excited and everyone is talking about how much fun they had and how badly they want to go back. :rotfl:

I happily converted my mother, brother, his best friend, my neighbor, her husband, my daughter, my co worker, my sister in law and so on...

My mother. When we there in 2005 she told so many people that this was her 'last time coming' but when we got home a few months later.. "Oh I wish we were in Epcot now relaxing in World Showcase" Mission accomplished! :woohoo: She doesn't often openly admit to liking any Disney park but always enjoys it when she's there :thumbsup2 My dad on the other hand is 'unconvertable'

My bf Steve. Before went to DLP this January I felt like he was going just to humour me but he really enjoyed it and told me so. Though he gets sick of my slightly obsessive planning for next year he's already 'admitted' he is excited and I think he'll get more enthusiastic nearer the time :bounce:

I was just going to start a thread about converting my ds!
He was reluctant to go a few years ago because he thought he was too old for the characters. Last year when I planned our DL trip, he said he was sick of Disney (age 12).
Well, lately he keeps talking about going to WDW or DL. We went to San Francisco for vacation this summer and he kept asking if we could drive down to DL.
Sunday he corrected me when I said I have one key on my keychain, he said, "no Mom, you have two keys, your car key and (pointing at my WDW keychain) your Mic-key"!
Yesterday he told me he dreamed we went to DL and POTC was a swim-thru attraction!
I figure I've totally converted him if he is now dreaming about Disney!!!!!!!

Now to get dh to realize every 10 years is NOT often enough!
