We are new DVC members and have a family of 5. Kids are 5,7,10. Have no trouble bunking together.:grouphug:

I was told at the time of our purchase that it may be possible to book a studio at BWV that will allow 5? I've not been able to confirm this. However, our Burnbaum's Travel Guide for Disney states that there are studios that sleep up to 5. This is hardly confirmation, but it gave me some hope.

Is there any other options for the 5 of us to do anything else but a 1Bdr and up?

Has anyone ever booked 5 in a studio at BWV or anywhere else?

Just hoping to save some points while the little ones are still little.:cutie:

Any other tips from the 5+ families would be welcomed:yay:

I haven't posted in a while but I know this:

-4 only in a studio unless 1 is under 3 yrs old
-I believe the new AK villas may have 5 people
-this thread will probably be closed/moved because they put all of these threads together so I hope you get definite advice before it does!

4 plus a child under 3.

There are "studio pluses" at the Boardwalk that have what is sometimes described as a daybed - but it isn't a daybed. Its a deacon's bench - too small for anything other than a small child, a with a thin foam cover. And they cannot be guarenteed, so its anyone's guess whether you'd get one.

Years ago, this used to be called a daybed and be bookable.

No DVC studios sleep five.

Is it possible to book 5 people, 3 of them children, into a studio? I know that there are only 2 beds, but that's enough for us right now.

Will they let you book 5 into the room? :confused3

All occupancy discussions are limited to this thread: DVC Occupany

Stated occupancy for studios is 4 plus a child under 3. There are a handful of studios at either BWV that have a daybed, bud it is so small that only a very small child would be comfortable. You can not guarantee the "studio plus" it is a request only. Studios, except at oKW, have a queen bed and a full size sleeper sofa. OKW has 2 queen beds.

This thread is closed.

To answer your question directly -

No, MS will not take a reservation for 5 for a studio (unless one is an infant under the age of 3). You'll need a 1 bedroom or larger unit.
