Is there any way an adult can do this ride with two small children? (who meet the height requirement of course)

Yes, an adult and two kids will be fine.

Remember to ask CM about child-driver-swap.

When I did this with my two grandkids, we went through the line, one kid drove. I sat in the middle so I could press the pedal to go.

When we came back, the CM had us get out of the car and into another car for the other one to have their turn driving.

It was great to have both kids drive without having to go through the entire line for the second driver.

Thank you! Our group is going to have 4 children under the age of 7, but only 3 adults to accompany them. Anytime we can double up two kids for one adult on a ride is a bonus!

I know there are two different height requirements for the ride -32in to get on at all, 54in to ride alone- can anyone 32in or taller drive the car? I think my 5 year old (43in) would get such a kick out of being able to drive me and his little brother in a "real" car :)

Like PP said, Yep! :thumbsup2 I took my twins on it with me when they were both little. I think they were around 2 years old or 2 and a half. They were young. But they LOVED it. They wanted to go on again and again. There was no problem having both with me. CM's are used to it. Have fun!

Regardless of height , I believe there is also an age limit of children riding alone.. anyone 8 and over can ride alone... anyone 7 and younger must ride with someone 14 and older.

plus the pedal on the cars are rather stiff, and you need a bit of strength to push them... or is that just me being old and feeble??? :rotfl2: so he can try.

anyone can steer the car .. you are on a track and cant go wrong..

My 5 year old would be with me, I just wanted to see if he'd be allowed to drive the car? (it'd probably be my 5 year old, myself, and my 2 year old in the car- both boys are pretty petite, so I'm fairly certain we would all fit comfortably. I would sit in the middle to help him as needed) My husband and my mom will take the other two kiddos under 7. Originally my dad was going to come along as well so we'd have an even number of adults to young kids, but he can't get away from work unfortunately. Also, I thought children had to be 7, not 8, to ride without an adult? We planned our trip so that one of our sons will turn 7 just before we go, which would allow him to go on rides with our 11 year old daughter.

Actually, 7 & and over can ride alone (providing they meet the HR - my DD8 still is not tall enough to ride Autopia without an adult).

Could two adults and one kid(who would be driving) fit? We are a family of 3 with an almost 5 yo at time of the trip....would we all be able to go in the car?

It would be tight. VERY tight. It would be better to have one adult go alone. You will still see each other. Actually, my kids get a kick out of passing family. The road turns a lot sometimes you see family above you, bellow you. It is kind of fun to wave. (There are 6 of us and last time we went my oldest two each got their own car, DH took our youngest son, and I took our youngest Daughter.) It was a blast. Or you could do ride swap and have each of you go once with your 5 year old. Your 5 year old is guaranteed to love it and want to go on more than once if he/she is anything like my 5 year olds!!! :thumbsup2

DW and I rode with DD until she was maybe 10. We're not" big" people, but are both pretty broad shouldered, and it was definitely tight from about 8 on. We finally had to give up and do two cars.

We're a group of 6 to 10 depending who tags along on my trip. So we will have several cars.....

If your group will take more than one car, keep this in mind....

Bumping can occur from the car behind you.
When we go I always have the youngest in the first car and oldest in the last car.

Even though bumping is discouraged.... It can happen. I don't want the young ones to get hurt or scared on the ride.
