Hi everyone. This will be our first camping trip to WDW. We have a large extended family and we are trying to put together a trip for most of us. In order to reduce cost as much as possible we were thinking of doubling up in campers and tents. Is that allowed ? Also we would require a few campsites, close together, can they accomodate that ? We don't want to get there and find out we are 3 or 4 loops apart. I'm sure I will think of more questions as the process rolls along, and I couldn't think of a better place to come for advice.:worship:

They allow 10 people per site.

You can have 1 camper and 1 tent, or 2 tents per site, not including screen or canopies.

Yes they will put you next to or across from eachother, be sure to tell them to link your ressies together.

The planning is almost as fun as the trip. :thumbsup2

We take our trailer and my parents take there trailer. We always get either side by side or across from one another. Just tell them you need that.

Kids under three don't "count" as they don't need a KTTW card for EMH and pool hopping:rolleyes1 , etc.... so technically if you are trying to squeeze people on a site to save money, you could "forget" to mention the little ones if it will help you!:)

Although I personally have never done this, I have read this advice on here many times!:goodvibes

10 per site, and all extra adults past the first 2 are supposedly charged $2/night, although recent reports here indicate that this policy isn't being applied consistently.

I've found that to be true also with the pet charge if you have multiple back to back ressies. It just seems to depend upon the CM at the front desk. We often have to add one adult for only a portion of a particular ressies so we can get him a KTTW card for EMH entry.
