How Many Pairs of Shoes Do You Bring to Disney?

I'm also a three person - sneakers, which I wear most park days, dressier sandals for evenings that we change for dinner, and flip flops for the pool. Six would be way too much for me.

I should add 3 ofthe pairs I’m bringing are light as a feather & don’t take up much room they are waterproof in 3 different colors to go with my outfits, I guess it’s Birkenstocks new line this year. I’ve been wearing them around the house to break them in, they’ll also go in my backpack at the parks in case I need a change of shoes.

I’m glad I’m not the only one bringing multiple pairs.

2-3. Sneakers, flip flops for the pool, and nicer Croc flip flops. Sometimes just the sneakers and 1 pair of flip flops, which ones depends on what kind of ADR's we have planned.

3 - sneakers, pool flip flops, & Yellow Box blinded out flip flops for nice restaurants
You have me curious what is Yellow Box Blinded out flip flops, I think I'm missing something!

Just the Teva Tirras on my feet. Good for pools, good for walking, looks fine with a sundress, good for everything I say!

(Of course this backfired on me last month when my one pair finally gave out after 2 years of frequent use, but I ordered another pair to my resort that got there the next day so I was golden!)

It's not like I go all the time, but when I take any trip I take two pairs of shoes. If I'm traveling for a wedding, I would take something nice for the occasion, but otherwise we prefer not to do anything while traveling that requires a wardrobe change. I've visited Cathedrals, taken in broadway shoes, etc. in a basic skirt with decent walking sandals. No where I'd choose to eat at Disney would require more.

Same, I mean, how much space do a pair of flat sandals or jellies take up?

I SO agree though, with the posters that say you should be comfortable in your shoes before you leave. Made that mistake in my younger days...never again.

Another 3 pair person here.

I generally wear my tennis shoes on the plane and pack Skecher Go Walks and comfortable flip flops.

I’d better start breaking them in more, thanks for the advice.
Exactly they are so light & hardly take up any space.

4. Two pairs of sneakers, a pair of flip flops, and a pair of nice flats.

Two sneakers minimum often 3 pairs, 2-3 pairs flip flops, plus heels for the plane... On my wedding trip we were there for 3 weeks I brought about 10 pairs... I own 150 pairs of heels so I feel like this is reasonable lol.

3-4. Usually 2 pairs of sneakers to alternate and then my Teva flip flops and a pair of Reebok crossfit flip flops that I only take to Disney because of how comfortable they are for all the walking. I usually start the day in sneakers and then switch to flip flops in the evening.

1-2 pairs good runners
0-1 pair good walking sandals
1 pair converse for the plane
1 pair Flip flops for the pool
1 pair “nice” shoes for dinners

So usually 5, maybe 6 pairs. It probably is excessive so I’ll probably cut out the plane shoes this time (last trip was in the winter so no flip flops or sandals - I could easily wear one of those for the plane this time).

Why heels on the plane? Wouldn't those be uncomfortable for travelling and mean going through security barefoot or in nylons? I don't wear heels, so just curious.
 I practically always wear heels and I know it's hard to imagine, but after so many years one's achilles and hamstrings get short. Wearing flat shoes for too long actually hurts. I only ever wear flat shoes if I need to do a lot of walking and at the end of the day my heels, ankles and calves are screaming. A quick jaunt through an airport and sitting on a plane? Piece of cake in heels. They would be pumps or mules though because I admit to being one of those shameful people who discreetly slip their shoes off while seated.

As to the bolded, not all airports require you to take your shoes off. Lots do though and tons of people are in sandals or flip-flops; we all go through barefoot. I'm sure the floors are anything but pristine but I'm not a germaphobe.
