I am currently working on my disney scrapbook. I already have 20 pages.. and have alot more to go. Am I going crazy? How many pages are in your disney scrapbook??

Also I'm nervous..I wanted all the pages to fit into a special scrapbook that I had got and decortated the outside. How many pages can you fit into one book?? :)

Thanks

:cheer2: I have one scrapbook for each park, one for all the different resorts and another the holds all special events and the different parades over all the years. After our yearly trip each year I add new photos to see the changes that have happened the past 12 years. I also keep a scrapbook of coast from year to year and how much is spent on each trip.:yay:I like to look back and see how things have changed throught the years.

How many pages - for me, that completely depends on what we do on the trip, and how long it is. For our last trip, I had about 8 2 page spreads. It was a 5 day trip. When I went for 11 days, I had about 30 pages.

The MAW album I just finished was set up with 30 pages - 2, 2 pages spreads for each park visited, 2, 2 page spreads for the resort time, a 2 page spread for the Lula, and a 2 page spread for MVMCP. Plus an opening and closing page.

How many pages fit in an album - if you're using a regular post-bound album, you may want to buy larger posts. I prefer to buy a larger post instead of using the extenders - it is sturdier. Also, you'll need to add in cardboard about every 5 pages with the page protectors, so that the pages lay right.

Overall, how many fit depends on how thick your pages are. If you use a lot of chipboard, or bottlecap type embelishements, you won't be able to fit as much. If your pages are more flat, you can get 30 page protectors in without a problem.

Call me crazy, but on our last 7 day Cruise on the Magic, including our 2 days travel, I had 3 albums the were 90 pages each. 270 pages :confused3:rolleyes1

I don't think that's crazy. I am finishing up my scrapbooks from our last trip, and I probably have 250 - 300 pages as well. :confused3 What's wrong with that?

I think a lot of it is personal preference. Do you have a lot of pics that you want in your album? How many pages will your album SAFELY hold? Do you want all of the pages in that one album, or will you be okay with the pages in multiple albums?

I use CM albums, and I know it is pushing the albums limits with 90 pages (45 pages front & back). I try to find a good breaking point somewhere around 80pages and move to another album.

Our last trip was my kids' first. It also included my DD's first hair cut, and lots of other special memories. And I take a lot of pictures. I am okay with using more than 1 album. The first album is a Disney coverset, and the others are black to coordinate.

OP - I think you have to decide what works best for you. Do you want all of your pages in one album, or can it flow into another? I do suggest not overpacking the album - whatever you decide. It is hard on the album, and it may not hold up as well over time.

Good luck!

I have 2 albums for each trip and there are approx 50 pages (100 sides) in each book :)

You're not crazy! My seven day cruises always run to multiple albums. Just imagine what I'll have after the 15 night Panama Canal Cruise and DL/Las Vegas stay after.:rotfl2:

I'll count the pages from what is finished (cause it's no where close to being finished) of our 2008 trip... I know it's got a ton of pages as my DH laughs every time I tell him to remind me to get page protectors for it!

I don't even want to venture to guess what our 2010 album will look like...

Our 2008 trip is being done by park.... 2010 haven't decided yet..
Our 2005 trip was done by day...and it has about 100 page protectors per my DH.

Our last WDW trip for 5 days had 3 albums, each has probably 40 double layouts....going for 11 days in march, my DD bday, doing DiscoverCove, Flower and Garden Show at Epcot, 2 tours, 4 parks, figure I'll have 5-6 albums, don't like to overstuff them!

Disney World is about 55-60 two page layouts per trip. (That is with a lot of pics on each page)

My cruise, I took even more and is at 70 two pages layouts!

First trip was 10 days, 90 pages, 2 albums.

Second trip was 7 days, 112 pages, 2 albums.

Third trip was 5 days, 72 pages, barely squeezed into 1 album.

I am following closely behind!

our first trip was for 12 days and included SW and US/IoA, so I am on my 3rd album and not done yet!

I am thinking I am at least 300 pages, I will count when i get home :)

I usually scrap between 50-60 pages per week trip. So much that now I go for two albums from the parks not just one. One is never enough.

i have at least 100 pages (double page layouts). i could use 2 albums, but it's all stuffed into 1.

i do my books day to day.

need to start on the book for our trip earlier this month. i'm making my in-laws a book too. double the fun and double the mess! lol but i'm excited because i'm going to actually try new layouts instead of just sticking the pictures down and putting stickers on the pages.

Just am in the process of finishing mine up, and it stands at 50 layouts. I did go park by park--and a character section. Just felt that seemed to make the most sense for how I was setting it up.

I tried day to day initially, but when you park hop like crazy, it just doesn't work that way. :lmao:

Another who doesn't think you are crazy. Not unusual for a five day trip turns into two albums with 45 pages, for a total of 90 layouts each.
