I booked our first cruise one year ago yesterday. As of today we are anticipating our 2nd (Nov 1) and have booked our 3rd (New Year's 2004). I have enlisted 2 friends (and families) to join us on the 2nd and 1 of them is signed up for the 3rd. In addition, I convinced our old neighbors to cruise and they just returned about 3-4 weeks ago

So something that started a year ago with one booking has grown into 7. If all of us are doing that think of the number of cruises we're responsible for selling! I want my commission! LOL

Seriously, how many others have you convinced to go?

We sailed for the first time this May. We booked two cruises while still onboard. Since coming home we have booked two more cruises!

The cruise that was just going to be a surprise cruise for the kids will now include my MIL and her husband (their first cruise) The November cruise this year will include my parents (their first cruise) May 2004 we go alone (so far) and the Christmas 2004 cruise we possibly take my parents back (depends on how they like their first cruise!)

The company I work for (it's more of a volunteer thing with some fun perks) wants to plan a cruise for all of it's employees, volunteers, and clients. I'm heavily talking them into trying the DCL! So, if they book that and tons of people go, does that count as people I've introduced?? Dh and I have already decided that if they DON"T choose DCL, we aren't going!!! (how snobby is that??)

I talk up DCL SO MUCH I become sickening (so I've been told) - NOT to MY family, tho!!:D :bounce: :D :Pinkbounc
We convinced my BIL, SIL & their kids to go (last year) & friends of ours (next spring) & a woman from work & her husb. (last fall).
Why? Do we get discounts??:smooth::rolleyes:
Still working on some friends that like to cruise but haven't done DCL yet. We can see them 'cracking' before our eyes! We'll get them off of NCL, CCL & RCL yet!!!!:p :smooth:

BTW - FOUR MONTHS FROM YESTERDAY (yes, we're counting!!) is our 3rd DCL cruise. CAN'T WAIT!!!

We (DH & I) went on our first cruise on the DVC Member's Cruise in February. After getting back (and making everyone listen to us about how much fun we had) we turned a week trip to WDW in September into a 4 night cruise with a couple of nights at WDW afterwards. We are up to 13 people in 6 rooms going. Five will be 1st time cruisers, 3 have cruised other lines and 3 of the others cruising experience was on the Big Red Boat (I think they are in for a bit of a surprise)!!!!!!!!

We considered doing the 10 day Christmas cruise with our 4 kids until reality hit us and we realized that in the fall 2004 three of our kids will be in college. Guess we will have to take the whole family on a shorter cruise during some off season time. That would give us 3 more that we "convinced" to cruise on DCL. Back to dreaming!!!!!!!!!

Hi Gail! Wish you and John were going on the Christmas 2004 cruise - Mark and I are! Got that itch after coming back from the Western in May. Would love to sail with your guys again some day!

I'm sure you'll have a ball showing everyone around the ship and Nassau!

BTW - did we ever thank you for the great photo you took of the May 10th ship leaving via two palms. I honestly can't remember! Well here's another great big thanks! Have a copy of it in our scrapbook!

We're going on our first cruise in May. I think everyone is getting tired of listening to me talk about it but I just can't help it:earsgirl:
I have one friend that said she's now thinking of cruising (DCL) with her family end of next year.

Also, masonpips, I just want to say I LOVE your photo:)

DH and I went on our first cruise, 7 day Western, last July for our 25th Anniv. In two weeks, we are bringing along our DD & DS and our Aunt!

We have definitely been bitten by the cruising bug!

My sister got SO tied of hearing me talk about our Disney cruise that she and her family joined us last year! This year she is joining us again, AND my In-Laws (who I LOVE) may be joining us as well!
It's very simple....when you do something you love, you want to share the experience with the people you love.
