How many of you plan on adding on?

I am just curious as to how many here have definate plans on adding on points in the near future. Also, if you have no plans to add on, would a DVC at CR change your mind? All this talk, rumors about a DVC at CR has got me thinking.

Personally I know we will be adding on in the near future. Maybe 3-4 years from now. We recently purchased 150 pts. at SSR and for now that will do. I do know in the future with a son a daughter, they will want their own space, and with teenagers one day, we'll want our own space too!!LOL
Right now studios do us fine with 2 small kids. Not sure where we would purchase for an add on.

I just added 50 pts. to my SSR and I thought 150 pts. would be enough too. The bug hits hard and it hits quick.

I have 300-points at Beach Club. I am looking at adding on either in 2005 or 2006.

The add-on would be anywhere from 50 to 100-points.

I doubt we will add on again, but since we have added on in 2002, 2003, and 2004, perhaps I shouldn't speak too soon!

I am currently at 370 points and plan on adding on 130 over the next 3-4 years.

We joined DVC at SSR in September with 250 points. As soon as we got home and found these boards I called our guide and added on 130 to get 2 annual pass vouchers. The paperwork came to us as phase one and we really wanted phase two since that was our original contract. They said it was a mistake so they were going to resend the paperwork. Our guide also told us that for each 130 points we would get 2 AP vouchers so we ended up with 510 points! We hadn't even planned on buying into DVC. Now we have a 9 day trip planned for next August and can't wait for our first trip home!

I originally purchased a 100 point resale contract for OKW a year ago. I figured that within a couple of years, I'd add on 100 points at SSR. Since the incentives were so great, ($89 per point with a $10 per point credit and 2 free AP's if I did 130 point) I added on at the end of September. I really do have all I need now. Well, unless I win the lottery.

We'd consider 80 more points at BWV, but that's it. IF the Contemporary would become DVC, we'd probably go for 150 there though - it would be great!

We purchased our original contract in April, and have added on twice since then. We are currently on "the list" for BCV points, but I am NOT holding my breath for that one!!! If we haven't heard anything by summer, we may just have to go resale.

I originally thought I would LOVE to own at the CR...but, on our last trip we went and looked at it...and, it's just not my style! I prefer much cozier surroundings. And with VWL being in the same general area, we didn't find it hard to take a water ferry to the MK or the CR and catch the monorail to Epcot. But, that is what I say now. I DEFINITELY reserve the right to change my mind...let's just see what DVC does with CR.

The most likely additions would be two weeks at a Marriott Vacation Club. We have 300 OKW and 215 BCV so we are pretty well fixed for WDW vacations.

However if we were to add on at DVC, our first choice would be an OKW resale.

I am looking right now to add 100 or so VLW points. We currently have 210 at BVC.

We doubled up our points, back in 2001, and have not felt the need for an add-on... until recently. Our family (of 4) has started booking 2BR more often than I thought we would. My calculations were based on 1BR. So, if we add-on, it'll probably be VWL resale. I'd still pick VWL over any of the rumored resorts.

We have 210, members since 5/2001 VWL.

Have thought about adding on but we are happy with what we have.
If CR become reality we may rethink it though. But all the same it would not be the tower and that is the way I like to stay there so maybe the 7 mo would be fine anyway. Can't be any different than members booking at the 7 mo mark for VWL.

going to BWV for a few days next week, can't wait. First time there.
So far everywhere except SSR and it doesn't interest us. We like OKW the best. Next to VWL at Christmas ofcourse

Started with 150 in March, added 150 in October. Expect to do another 100-150 add on within next 3-4 years. Would add 300 for sure if there were Polynesian Villas, maybe 100-150 anywhere else on monorail.

If no big DVC plans are announced in the next few years, we may look for a resale at BW or BC or just pay cash for the Poly, since we just feel like its our Disney "home".

Well right now it is just my daughter and myself, but if circumstances changed, I would consider adding on maybe 50-75 points once this loan is paid off. It would be nice to have a little extra room/more vacation time each year.

We started with 200 at BCV, but added added 100 within a year. We really thought that would be more than enough.......BUT, we're looking to add on another 50 as soon as possible...and who knows how many in the future!

We started with 232 points at OKW in 1992. We now have 615 points at OKW & BWV. Just sent my deposit Friday to the Timeshare store for 50 points at VWL and we are waiting for our DVC guide to call back to verify if we got the 117 points she said was available at VWL.

We have 230 BWV points and plan to add 100-120 in a couple of years. We probably will add on at BWV just to keep all the points at the same resort. I think it will be easier for us to plan that way.

start with 190 at OKW - now I have 350 points at OKW, BWV and VWL - I would like to add on at BCV....I almost did.

that would be my first choice now.

now if they did do a DVC at the CR - I would probably add on - it is mother's favorite.
