How many of you have 2 home computers?

John's new Dell came in today and he is having so much fun with it. I personally saw nothing wrong with my Gateway but for some reason he thought he needed one and I needed one.....so now at least we can be online at the same time I guess. So how many of you have 2 home computers? The way John talks most people have more than one computer in their home if there is more than one person in the home who uses one.

Oh how funny....we must've been posting at the same time. We are considering a 2nd computer (possibly Dell) and currently have a Gateway. Which model Dell did he get and how different is it from your Gateway? How old is your Gateway? I think ours is about 4 years old now...

We have three set up for daily use. Luis' desktop, my desktop and my laptop. We have two more that we use now and then. I know that by the end of the year, Luis will have another so we will be up to 6 then.

We have three home computers. We used to have four but we took our son's pc to him in Houston a few weeks ago.

My Gateway is only 2 years old. There is nothing at all wrong with it except that when John wants online I'm usually on and when I want online, hes usually on.

My DH has 4 in his computer room and there are 4 in my computer room / office. One for me and each of the girls and a laptop that I use from work. They are all networked, DH uses a wired network and we are on wireless.

We have 3. The boys have 1, DH has 1, and I have my laptop.

I have 2 computers. And I have network the house. I am dieing to have a laptap computer for personal use.

Considering I am Network Engineer I am suprise I don't have more.

We have 5, plus a laptop. DH, 2 DSs, and I each each have our own desktop, the 5th desktop works as a server, then the laptop is used in various rooms, mainly by me. DH ran LAN cable and installed jacks in the walls in the livingroom, familyroom, and our bedroom so we can use the laptop wherever we want to.

I want to mention that DSs have VERY limited internet access and limited amounts of time they can use their own computers which are in their bedrooms. They usually use my computer when they need to do homework or other projects. They mainly use their own computers for games or creating movies.

Currently, only 4. 3 desktops, 1 laptop, all networked.

The desktops are one Dell, one Gateway, one built-it-myself. The laptop is DH's business machine.

I love my Dell- we have many thousands of them where I work, and I find them quite reliable and easy to support.

The newest toy is my Gateway. I just couldn't pass it up, it was a good deal all packaged together.

We have a desktop, a laptop and a desktop for the kids. We also have our old computer in the basement set up as a server. OH ya, I have my work computer which I use when I need to do work at night or in the weekend. That makes 5.

I have a Dell Desktop and a Sony laptop. Jim has 2 laptops and 3 desktops- 1 having a double processor. All networked. Jim is a programmer

If any of you would be interested in running a screen saver that uses the processors to process tests (?) please PM me and I will send you a link. We (Jim) needs all he can get He only has about 40 right now with family.
