We took a stroller with us several years ago. Our DD wa 7 or 8 months old (can't remember now) We bought one that reclines, but was compact. A Graco Kite. It had a big basket underneath and folded up nice. It also had a shade. We still have it, but it feels like it is going to fall apart, so we don't use it anymore. It wasn't that expensive either. We stayed at WL, so we used the busses alot and it worked well.

One year we checked DS's stroller at the gate. He had a graco, don't remember the model but it was large with all the bells and whistles for that age stroller so it was not compact (he is 10 now). We didn't have a problem checking it, and it was always open and ready for us when we would walk off the plane. This seems like it was millions of years ago! My baby is not a baby anymore and my first baby is an adult!

I am still agonizing over my non savannah concierge view even though I am not supposed to worry about it! In my shoes, would anyone else rebook at reg savannah and forget the concierge? I am so worried we'll end up in pool view and I really want/need savannah view.

Debbie....please don't fret about the savannah view!
You will get the savannah view on the 5th floor, where they put MOST of the AKL concierge guests!
In fact, it is HARDER to get the poolview 6th floor, than the savannah view!
So take a deeeeep breath, and relax!

OK....just about five minutes ago, I just got an ITCH to call CRO and inquire about my parents room at WL.... are you ready?

I'm so excited! I felt faint when she first said that she pulled one up, but then she said, oh, sorry, wrong code....FL resident!
I just held my breath as she did her thing, and she told me that she found a WL CL room at an AP discount!

NOW......I can go to WDW and totally enjoy without worrying!

I know it was all your prayers and PIXIE DUST that did the trick!

Since you all are experts on concierge.... Can you tell me what "offerings" WL has for mid-day snacks and appetizers in the late afternoon. I am trying to decide if it's worth trying to upgrade... What kind of offerings are there for children? DH and DS (2yr) are picky eaters and I wonder if it would even be worth it.... I would love it.

Plus I read it's possible to ask for beer in the evening. Is that true?

It's our 1st trip to WDW and I've booked (w/out hubby knowing), the CL at the BWI as a surprise . I've not heard a lot about the BWI CL, but it's possible I've missed a thread somewhere. Am I going to love it or wish I'd gone somewhere else? I don't think I can really go wrong with Disney, but I always 2nd guess myself. Does anyone know which rooms offer the best views on the CL? I couldn't get the deluxe CL room since they were out when my agent called back (snooze you lose type deal). It didn't bother me too badly since I had my heart set on the garden suite to begin with anyway. I'm sooooo excited. I seriously can't sleep at night...I've never been this excited about anything! My husband told me I am officially obsessed with WDW....I didn't think I was that bad until now. Can someone give me some insight on the BWI CL though? I'm dying to know!

BTW, DH feels better now that he knows other people go to WDW as often (or more!) than we do! I have his blessing to plan our May trip now (the one that will get us right again after that non-concierge stay last weekend!)

I will be at the BWI concierge in just 2 weeks. It is the best one on property for me. The cast is wonderful and go above and beyond for you. This is the only place I will stay now. I have tried others on property and just love the way I am treated at the Innkeepers Club. The view from the garden suites are of the gardens and quiet pool. They are so cute you will love them.
I just love feeling special and being pampered here. I go in March for my girls only trip and again in Oct. with my husband. Last year my son, daughter-in-law and grandaughter came. They are going with us again this year.
You will love it! Have fun and relax.
