Welcome back, MamaTink & Mom_Rules! :wave2: Time for settling back into reality - however, since it's Monday we'll leave that optional.

I hope both of your trips were fabulous & can't wait for the trip reports/lounge offerings. Headed to AKL/WL in June - so MamaTink, I really look forward to what you have to say about AKL :teeth:! I know everyone loves AKL in general, but it's still nice to hear about everyone's personal experiences.

All you lounge lizards have a good one!

Welcome back MamaTink and Mom_Rules! I'm glad you guys had a great time at WDW. :)

Thanks for the welcomes everyone-went to bed at 3:30am got up at 6:00am for work-without my concierge lounge coffee and breaky :(

3:00pm and I think I'm going home for a nap. Too bad my dinner won't be ready for me at 5:00pm (lounge time) with my glass of wine.

Food offerings were fabulous-I'll add the dinner offerings to my previous post soon!

Have just been talking to Amy at YC for our upcoming trip in July. She is worth the price of concierge alone!! I love her knowledge of everything when it comes to PS's and she sooooo friendly to boot!:sunny: Does anyone have any comments on the itinerary planners for Poly? I need to get busy...I haven't talked to any of them yet.

I spoke with Amy many times before our last trip to YC Concierge. She is the best! Disney is lucky to have her.

My experience with WL/Poly IPO this time has been a little different. They are just different from Amy. It's almost as if Amy could read my mind-she would suggest things, assure me everything was taken care of, etc.

Don't get me wrong, the IPO staff for the Poly and WL have been quite good. They are a little more difficult to reach by phone than the YC IPO staff was, IMO.

I have had better luck communicating by e-mail and usually receive a response within 24 hours. Recently, most of my e-mails have come from Melissa. She suggested few things and answered questions before I asked almost. She sounds like a real gem.

LOL, MamaTink! It takes me days after a Poly stay to quit looking for my fresh pineapple & for DH to stop missing his PB&J roundwiches.
floridafam - you're right, Poly IPO is a little hard to reach via phone, unless you're at the same number all day long, but e-mail usually does the trick for me. Melissa is GREAT with a big capital "G." She was working in the Poly concierge office for our last several trips and has done so many things for us. She's currently helping me with a surprise for DH. I always used to do our PS's myself, but concierge CMs can suggest so many options and just make things go smoothly in general, now I can't imagine why I ever did it myself!
My counter looks better & better, but it's still moving too slowly for me!

We have had help from Melissa and Marilyn in the Poly IPO and they have been extremely helpful. I have read so many posts where people praise Melissa, thus far, I have only contacted them via email.
My room is paid for, my airfare is paid for, my tickets are paid for, working on the meals and the babysitters (egads it's expensive). I can't wait!
The only planning thing I have left is getting a hotel at the airport since our flight is at 9 am, I am saving this so I have something to do at the date approaches!
I am wondering, when we will know if Disney plans on continuing the evening extra magic hours into June if they are successful in May, since this will affect our itinerary.

Sarha, please don't worry about starting the SAB crowding thread. It is something to think about and like you, I will not let it influence my decision. I will be back before you go, and since I am going for 4th of July, I will let you know how bad it really can be there.

k&a&c'smom and bambitamby, thank you both for the reassurance that the pool would not be a problem. I love the way that everyone here extends themselves to everyone else. :grouphug:

momrules, welcome back to reality! I can't wait to read your trip reports. I am glad that you had so much fun.

Take care everyone!

mom_rules & MamaTink - Welcome back home!! Do you already want to plan another trip?! I do!!::yes:: It's hard not to plan to return in June, before the Flower and Garden Festival is over!!;) I think DH would kill me!!:duck:

Can anyone help me find the WL FAQ thread? I have been looking and can't seem to find it. I'm look for some general resort info. AND concierge level info. as well. THANKS!!!

WELCOME BACK MamaTink and mom_rules!!!!:wave2:

It's on pg. 2, about 1/2 way down, titled "WL FAQ(Part 4) Just the Facts, Ma'am" or something to that effect!

I'm baack...
AKL concierge was wonderful! We celebrated our anniversary and my birthday there (DH was in the desert for both last year-military). The day we celebrated our anniversary, we came back to the room to find congratulatory notes and a gift-pretty box with cologne for both of us. (no, we couldn't get more cologne--they special order it for gifts only:mad:
On my birthday, there was a gift, cards and a beautiful, large cake, with my mname written on the tray in chocolate, along with party hats, horns, a candle, matches, china plates, cloth napkins...
I had had them make a PS for Coral Reef as a surprise for my DH for our anniversary (the restaurant in Canada was booked solid) and had been worried about it since reviews of the place have been so mixed. I shouldn't have worried--we got seated right up against the aquarium wall and the food was very good. At the end, they brought over this exquisite dessert--a chocolate cup filled with melted chocolate to dip the strawberries in, an 8-inch tall chocilate "champagne flute" filled with chocolate mousse and topped with a wedge of white chocolate covered with red hearts, and a chocolate banner that said "Congratulations!" It was every bit as beautiful as the Cinderella's slipper dessert mentioned in another thread. DH was blown away and I haven't even gotten to the best part: As we were eating dessert, I saw the diver enter the tank and thought that we had timed it just right to get to see him feed the fish. WRONG! He swam over to us and tapped on the glass, then held up an sign that said "Happy Anniversary, Jeanne and Ed!" He blew bubble kisses and then picked up the crushed shells or whatever that covered the floor of the tank and began to throw them in the air/water like confetti!!!! It was the most magical moment of our trip. Just as we were leaving, someone came over to the table and said his friend had asked him to give us something--the sign the diver had held up. I had no idea any of this was going to happen, so it was a treat for both of us!
More later...

Wow MamaTink! That sounds like a fantastic anniversary diner/surprise!!! It was great to read your report...it really put a smile on my face...what a great way to start my day...reading about some Disney Magic!

LOL-I already made inquiries at the Concierge Desk about availability before we left!! My DH is finally hooked and can't wait to go back (it only took 10 years of Disney trips to find his niche).

MamaTink - HOW WONDERFUL :jumping1:!!!! That was soooo incredibly awesome and really sweet of them. I can't wait to get more details on your trip :listen:. That just makes your heart melt, doesn't it :lovestruc? AKL CL really took care of you guys, too! It's so nice to hear about upbeat and happy happenings on everyone's recent trips :goodvibes.

Mom_Rules - I hope the CL bug bites my DH HARD!!!! :teeth:

Hi Woody,
