We will have four full days in the parks starting from the first weekend in june (6/7), so three of our four days are MM days. How many should we participate in? Which days? If we don't go early on an MM day will the lines already be long by regular park opening? While we're not laze about types, I don't want to necessarily have an early and aggressive start to all of our mornings.

the only lines that can and will form are for the attractions open during MM. if you have no interest in them on a particular day, you lose nothing by showing up at park opening. if you have interest and don't feel like getting up earlier, go on the non-MM day. although there will be a larger crowd on non-MM days competing for those attractions than there will be during MM, theoretically speaking.

Is there a separate line for magic mornings? That is, if I show up any time prior to regular park opening, can I head to that separate line or is it only segregrated at the beginning of MM?

there are some turnstiles designated specifically for MM access, so you can line up at any of the others.

I will be staying on-site and should have MM access everyday. So the MM turnstiles will be operating as MM only turnstiles until regular park opening? I would expect the line to get shorter on these lines as MM progresses.

Marlower: MM is held on Sat, Sun, Tues, and Thurs unless there are special events.

i think i've been told that there's no guarantee a MM line will turn into a regular line so i'm not sure I'd risk it. and I'd tend to argue that the MM line will get shorter. people going to MM will keep coming in until the park opens, even if they miss the first 45 mins of it. the only difference is the MM line keeps moving.

I agree with this. Even if sleeping in, it is good to use SOME of MM.

Say MM is at 8am & Gen. Adm. opening is at 9am.

If you stroll in at 8:35am you'll be able to ride 2-4 rides with no lines & be ready to pick up FPs on the hour.

If you stroll in at 8:55 you'll be able to pick up FPs on the hour.

If you stroll up at 9:00 you'll be 150th in line (in the Gen.Adm. line).

& the advantage of being near the front of any line (MM or no MM) is quicker FP collection & the ability to be one of the first on PP (then Dumbo) - or for Nemo - all which build lines immediately.

Several different times I've looked over at Peter Pan (after the family has ridden PP first, then Dumbo.... being one of the first on) & after only 5-6 minutes, the line for Peter Pan is already 4-5 ropelengths (100-150 people).....& we are happily on our way to Alice with those 2 rides in our rear view mirrow.
