I am going for the first time with my 2 and 4 year old. I was thinking we would spend one day at Magic Kingdom but I just realized I have 12 things highlighted! Is this too much? I didn't list eating or resting either.

Dream come true parade
Magic carpets of Aladdin
Jungle cruise
PhilharMagic
Cinderella's Golden Carrousel
Winnie the Pooh - characters
Dumbo
Ariels Grotto
Mad Tea Party teacups
Toontown - characters
Barnstormer coaster
Fireworks

I would probably do 2 days in MK especially with small children. But if you can't...I would book the earliest table service in MK that you can book (like a time before the park opens) that way you are in the park before it actually opens, that way when you are finished your meal, you are in the park at rope drop. We did this in June. It was DDs 6th birthday and we had breakfast in the castle at 8am and the park opened at 9am. When we walked out of the castle after breakfast, the park had just opened so all of the rides and attractions were open. We got through all of Fantasyland, including rides and shows and meeting Ariel in Ariel's grotto in about 45 min to an hour...it was awesome, there were no lines!!! DH even did Haunted Mansion!! By 10:15am we were already heading back to the hotel for a dip in the pool. We went back that afternoon, caught the parade and a few other things, we saw the night parade too and the fireworks...awesome day!!!

Yes, you can do that stuff and lots more in one day. When are you going? Obviously at busy times it will be harder. Do you plan on getting there at opening? Do you plan on leaving the park for a break? Sit down meals? Etc. On your list Dumbo is the only "premium ride" that you will experience a long wait for. In general, in non super peak times (xmas, easter, summer,) you can do all of fantasyland in an hour if you get there at opening. Dumbo, the carousel, peter pan, winnie the pooh, snow white, philharmagic, etc. Start in fantasyland, then move to tomorrowland, then adventure/frontierland.

I am going the first week of April. I wasn't sure if I'd have to wait in long lines for EVERY ride, so this sounds like some good news. I probably should go back for a rest after lunch. I was debating on adding a 2nd day also, but we don't want to pay for park hopping, so it would have to be 2 days of only MK. I guess that would be ok though, I'm sure the kids will love it.

I would think you would be able to do all this and then some if you get there at park opening. Fantasyland can become very crowded mid-late morning and on so I would get there at opening and start with Dumbo. Winnie the Pooh can get long lines so you may want to grab a FP for that one. The other rides that are potential problems are Barnstormer, Magic Carpets, Mad Tea Party and Ariel's Grotto becasue the lines move very slowly for these. But, getting there at opening I would think you would be O.K.
The other potential problem with your list is down time. Your ride list has mostly slow moving lines so you would want to get there in the morning, the parade is at 3, and fireworks are at night. My kids are older and we seldom tackle a day time parade and night time entertainment in the same day because it does not leave much time for a rest. If I had to pick between the 2 with little kids, I would probably go with the parade. My kids prefered that to fireworks when they were young. (DD still does.)
Just remember that you don't have to see it all to have a great time.
What other park are you going to?

Have a magical time.:wizard:

That's a good point about the fireworks. I just remembered that my daughter cried last summer when we saw them, then FELL ASLEEP! Her little brother has never seen them, but I'm sure he'd be terrified, he's a timid little guy.

I'm still trying to figure out what to do without doing too much. I wanted to go to Hollywood Studios to see the Playhouse Disney stuff, and was considering AK too. No Epcot, and hoping for a couple beach days too!
