How many men are wearing crocs?

How do you look in her high heels? Do they make your calves look thinner?

She doesn't wear heels. That, and they wouldn't be good to walk into the back yard to feed dogs. Mainly it's her sandals, slides and the occasional casual shoe.

I was there in Sept and I wore them for one day and went back to my sneakers. You sweat to much in crocs and it get uncomfortable when your feet are wet.

1/20 thru 1/28,,,

I overpacked;

My sneakers, didn't put them on once.

For those of you complaining that your feet slip to much,,,put the socks on, that will prevent them from slipping around, and possible blisters.

I packed sneakers, birks, good shoes, 2 pairs of crocs > different colors, then bought the Disney pair just becaue.

I will never go to Disney without my Crocs with socks again. We went 15 hours one day,,everyone was sitting down at the bus stops, massaging their feet, doing strecthes,,,you get the picture. Me,,,I could've kept on walking.....

Wear them, love them, appreciate them,,,your feet will....

I'm just learning about Crocs, and have learned alot from this thread.

This was one of the most entertaining threads I have read in a long time. I love it! Men thinking about fashion - who would have guessed? I mean, I'm gay, and, based on stereotypes, I'm "supposed" to think about fashion, but I never do. Comfort is forefront with me!

:goodvibes Just MHO But, My DH and 2DS wore Crocs for the 9 Days we were at disney and LOVED them. We all do wear them with socks.

I just got my first pair and trying to get DH.. maybe he'll go for the flip flops

Socks and crocs? ??? Oh my, now I have to call the fashion police!!!!!

Yes, they look ridiculous. Yes, I told my wife that they were so ugly that she could use them as birth control. Yes, I said I would never wear them. It's kind of like the old Dr. Seuss story "Green Eggs and Ham". Try them, try them, you will see, you might like them, just like me. Try them, try them, so you say, I will not like them, they look too gay. After agreeing to wear them for a weekend back in December, I just bought my second pair this week of Cayman and ordered my 4 year old a pair of the Disney Crocs. They are undeniably comfortable, feel better than wearing Nike Shox, Birkenstocks or any of my other "great" shoes. If you get them dirty, rinse them off. They get more comfy as you wear. Do I still have issues with how they look? Sure. I have Navy and Khaki, so nothing blatantly hideous colorwise. I can tell you that they will grow on you and eventually you just don't give a rip what someone else thinks.

I personally hate the look of them and did NOT want to jump on any "fashion bandwagon" but prior to our trip I was really concerned about my son's feet and well, my shoes just never have been great for walking a lot (I thought tehy would be when I bought them 6 months earlier but guess not) in soooo I bought myself and my son each a pair. Yes, we wore socks with them to stop the slipping (we needed to) but they saved our feet! So I didn't care what I loked like as long as I was walking w/o pain. I was utterly shocked but then again, I shouldn't have been having read what I did in research. Mid way through our trip my husband's feet were hurting so much form blisters that he begged to find a pair but alas, the only ones we could find in the largest size were either pink or powder blue and though he got over ther looks to comfort his pain he couldn't get over the color. :rotfl: I could give him that though. Those are 2 colors I wouldn't ever ask him to wear. They need to stock more in black for men's larger sizes me thinx. So I didn't see any men wearing them but my bet is some of them would have had they been able to find them in a color that didn't make them feel "less manly" . :lmao: Pain is a powerful motivator.:headache:

Just got my first pair of crocs and I luv 'em ! I wear 'em every chance I get. And I am a 50ish (reluctantly admitting this !) yo DD. My Ds also wants a pair, my DD already has a pair of red Disney crocs, but my DW says "no way, they're too ugly". Which was my feeling when I first saw them a while back. But the more that I saw them the more I figured I should try them. Course I have been wearing clogs for 30 years or so ( not with shorts tho, just doesn't look good on guys !) There's my .02 ! :cool1:

...just back from a week at the world. All but one day was spent with Crocs on my feet - feet that gave me NO problems despite an aggressive touring schedule. As far as "manliness" issues are concerned, if the subject of footwear causes you to worry about your masculinity, you might need to take a closer look at yourself... This entire "you wouldn't catch me, Mr. Manly Man, in them there girlie shoes" discussion has been quite amusing. Well, we all have our issues, but myself (a notoriously hetero husband and father) – I'm comfortable enough with my own sexuality to give more thought to comfort than some odd concern about my "macho" image. Comfortable shoes = happy traveler = great trip, for me it's that simple. I vote for Crocs, YMMV.

My DH saw how much I love my Crocs and got himself a pair. Considering how he lived in them over the summer, I can guarantee he'll be wearing them at WDW. Now I've tried everything I can think of to get my 10 y/o DS to try a pair but he's adamant that he won't wear them!

Some of the boys in my second grade sons class have started wearing them. My son could care less either way. If he wanted some I would probably just get him a pare. Men are plucking eyebrows, shaving thier chest and wearing earings now. When I was a kid this would all have seemed quite bizarre. Times change... It will be interesting to see what a average man looks like in a few generations?:scared1:

I'm a 30 yo male .....And I wear crocs.....:thumbsup2 I have a dark blue pair of the beaches,I consider these to be the most comfortble style, I also have this style in the black disney style, thanks to my wonderful DW  for my Fav. X-Mas gift....I own a pair of the Aspen(Brown) closed toe/no holes. these are nice but for some reason they are not as comfy as my beaches, and I own a pair of the Athens, they are very comfy but make a very annoying squeaking when they get the very least bit wet. I also wear work boots all night at work, and these are a god send for my feet in the A.M when I get done with work. I have worn them to WDW twice and will never wear anything else while I'm touring the "World". I highly recomend them to anyone. Besides how can you worry about what everyone is wearing on their feet, When you can't get past that "BIG GOOFY GRIN " :teeth: on everyones face from being at WDW........:rotfl2:

I used to laugh and make fun of Crocs at every chance. I am a server and I have always suffered from sore feet. One day, after a particularily horrible night at work, I was looking at the website on line and thought I would love to have some comfortable shoes to put on when I get home from work. I still couldn't get myself to buy them so my mother got me a pair for Christmas.
They are like a little piece of heaven! I have worn them everyday since then and am trying to find a red mickey pair to wear in the parks.

My dad came down for a visit two weeks ago and I made him go buy a pair, he was reluctant at first and it took a day to break them in, but by the second day he was wearing them happily and commented that this was the first time he spent a day in the parks and his feet weren't on fire at the end of the night.

I work at WDW and I see men in Crocs all the time. Your guys will be fine, and they will be glad that they went with crocs!!! I am a firm believer in comfort over fashion at WDW!!

If you think back, what do you remember: how stylish you looked, or how bad your feet hurt?

I LOVE CROCS!!!!!!

Just wanted to add to the topic.....I bought a pair for myself, of course after reading about them on the message boards.....my 17 yr old teenage son laughed at me and rolled his eyes.

Well, guess who has them now...he works in the kitchen in a restaurant on his feet for sometimes 12+ hrs a day and was complaining about his feet hurting. I bought him a pair and he loves them. He can't believe how comfortable them are. My daughter also has a pair too.

I am CROCing one person at a time!
