I grew up with the Carpenters. They were the best. It is truly a shame about Karen. Her music lives on though. The "easy listenening" stations play all their songs. I think the "Merry Christmas Darling" song will be a classic for a long time.

Hands down, my favorite. Karen had a very special voice. I think I have all their songs. Whenever I feel stressed all I have to do is sit back and listen to that voice and everything bad goes away.
