You really can't compare to other people unless you know what type of appliances you have (gas or electric dryer, gas or electric stove, septic pump or city water, etc...) There are lots of variables.
Having said that, we are electric EVERYTHING. We also have water and septic pumps, but our electric heat/AC is geothermal, so its more efficient. We are only 3 people, but 2 of us are home most of the time. Our average KWH is about 1250 - slightly higher in the winter due to lights, lowest in spring & fall when the heat and ac are off.
PA is a choose your own electric state, so we are locked into a 7.8/kWh for 6 months with our current provider.
