How many inflatables are too many?

I hate those inflatable things. There's a house near ours that always has something on their front lawn. They went from the Halloween one to the turkey, to the Giants player to the Christmas ones. There's always at least one that is on its side. And don't get me started on what they look like during the day. Please, stop the inflatables!!

Here is a link, I can't figure out how to post pics:headache:

I can't stop laughing at the inflatable donkey. I don't know why that's funny, though. :lmao:

I noticed this on the sidebar of that same page. Doesn't everyone want the "S.S. Claus" in their front yard?

Another vote for one.

I don't get those things. They're ugly when inflated, and they look like Santa's passed out in a heap in the bushes from too much eggnog when they aren't.

I agree with one. I hate those things. They are the tackiest decoration I've ever seen. My neighbor has a yard full of them right across the street from us. Last count was 25 and growing. She gets the biggest ones she can find. There is a santa on a motorcycle, moving merry go round, snowglobe, and more. What is worse is that during the day she doesn't inflate them so it looks like garbage strewn all over her yard. All she needs is a sofa on her porch and a pitbull tied to the railing to complete the redneck effect. Did I mention that her other lights all move to music? Queue the banjos. Oh yea. Lovely.

I can't stand those things!!
It's always, but my kids love them..so what my kids would love if I spray painted spongebob's face onto the side of my house too!
I just hope the trend dies down soon, it's so commercial & tacky!!

It's their house, if they want to be gaudy, then have at it :)

In the interest of good taste, I will not post a picture of my sisters house, but let's just say it sort of glows. I still don't know what she was thinking.

This thread stopped me dead in my tracks.....:rotfl: :scared1:

Pulling my mind out of the gutter now......:confused3

I'm gonna say no more than two - one for each side of the yard is plenty. ;)

Ok My DD12 absolutley loves this purple house!! Where is it located? Is it really painted like this??

This picture was courtesy of a Google image search. I'm holding out hope that it was photoshopped.

One is too many. People's front lawns are starting to look like car lots.

Somewhere, online I think, I saw a giant Reindeer Stable. This thing was huge. It's getting scary.

I guess I will stand alone. I like the inflatables. Not a whole yard full but one or two thrown in with all the lights looks cute!

I'm sorry if the Christmas cheer on my lawn has offended any of you, and I guess I'm in the minority on this thread but I like inflatable decorations.

agnes!
