I turned 26 in October, much to my dismay. Now I really have to start growing up! How I'd love to be 23 again...

No longer mid-20s and currently knocking on the 30's door...I will will 30 next month But, I am not sad. I feel I have enjoyed my life and did the best I could, no regrets and growing older is just the way it is. Now, my kids getting older, that sometimes breaks my heart. I want them to grow up...but not too fast. My advice to 20 somethings: you will get older. Don't enjoy life and your health so much now and you aren't prepared later. I am glad I lost my baby-weight in my mid 20s because the older I get the harder I need to work to stay healthy Have fun...goes by fast

Well I'm past the mid-twenties and sliding into the late-twenties. I turned 27 last month. I think that is the best time of my life. I'm married, stable, and feel my most confident. I don't have the drama that you have in your late teens to early twenties though sometimes I sure miss the partying and being able to stay up all hours of the night and sometimes for more than a day at a time. Now it's 10 p.m. and I'm asleep.

I have a hard time finding other married, homeowners, starting a family around my age. I guess I will be one of the few 50 somethings with no mortgage or kids to worry about anymore and will be able to enjoy the second half of my life.

Hi Puffkin! I'm a little older than you, 29 now, but DH and I were married at 20 and 21, and owned our home at 21 and 22, so I can relate! Seems like most of my friends are just now settling down


On the topic, I'm 29 and holding, and I have enjoyed my 20's, and am now settled down and married with 2 kiddos. Amazing how much things change in just a few years, but I don't miss my teens at ALL!

I totally know what you mean. I feel so old in my college classes with 18 and 19 year olds! Crazy to feel so old at 25!

I'll be 27 next month, and the 18-19 year olds in my classes think they're older than me. When they find out how old I am, it's the same response everytime: "No way! You're joking, right?!" Everybody tells me I'm lucky to have such good genes, but I hate being told I look 17. I guess the shaved head throws people off.
