How many in their Mid 20s on this board?

I am 25, turning 26 in March.

I have a hard time finding other married, homeowners, starting a family around my age. I guess I will be one of the few 50 somethings with no mortgage or kids to worry about anymore and will be able to enjoy the second half of my life.

You will probably enjoy retirement much more than me though - good for you! There is no wrong way to live life though! I bet if I met the right person I would have been married by now too. I just figured I dont have the whole marriage thing to worry about right now so I should take advantage of it now!

I am a 70's kid too, although on the 30th of next month I will be happily leaving my 20's behind. It's been fun, but at the stage of my life where I am now(married w/ kids) I feel I belong more to the 30 something group.

I'm 26, and I find I'm enjoying it too. My perspective on life is much broader than it was when I was a teenager, and it's nice to be in a place in our lives where we have both money and freedom.

The only thing that's been a little rough is beginning the age-30 transition where I have to come to terms with the fact that I'm not a kid anymore and won't be again. Still, all things considered, this is a good age.

I'm 25 and I totally agree. I am really starting to realize that I'm a grown up and that 30 is right around the corner. It's a scary feeling!

Im 24, will turn 25 in August. It weird though when you're sitting in a college class reminiscing about the 'ol days and talking about how much you loved Wilson Phillips, and the girl sitting in front of you says who is that? man did I feel old!!!

I totally know what you mean. I feel so old in my college classes with 18 and 19 year olds! Crazy to feel so old at 25!

Well it might be a little different than most singles our age - like you said but it is something that is very admirable. Raising a child is no easy task - I can imagine!
