How many hours of sleep do you get a night?

Are you happy with the amount you get or do you wish you could somehow get more?

I get between 8 and 9. Any less than that, and I'm not too pleasant to be around;)

I usually get a good 8-hours, but some nights I wake up and can't get back to sleep so then it might only be 5-6. I hate those nights. :(

I aim to get between 7-9 hours a night.

I can do a night or so of less, but it it becomes a trend, I need to stop it. Getting enough sleep is something I have to do to keep some medical issues from flaring up.

You forgot the "other" choice. :lmao:

I get between 6 and 7 hours each night. No, it's not enough. I could easily sleep another 2 hours, however that's just not happening.

I rarely sleep nowadays. :confused3
Since having children I've developed an insomnia of sorts. I guess i'd have to say 4 hrs.

I average about 6.

Crawl into bed at 10, watch the news, watch Friends, and if I am still not tired, I watch Scrubs. Usually asleep by 1130. Then up between 520 and 615.

Guess you'll have to round up or down.. lol

I used to be the kind of person who required 8 hrs no matter what in order to function. I'm still not happy dragging myself out of bed after 4-6 hours of interrupted sleep, but I do what I have to do. I have a 3-yr-old with serious sleep issues. :confused3

These polls never work for me. I get between 6 and 7 hours on a normal night. What is normal? lol!

I get about 6-7 hours a night on weeknights. We try to crawl into bed by 10, we usually try to watch the 10:00 PM news (at least until the weather guy gives his forecast at 10:15) then lights out after the weather guy is done. That bloody rotten alarm goes off at 5:00 AM, DH gets up and crawls into the shower, and I may snooze for another 1/2 an hour till he staggers out of the bathroom at 5:30, then I am up for the day. I really have to have at least this much or I am pretty non-functional the next day.

On weekends all bets are off. I usually work later shifts, so may not be home till 11:00 PM or later, and if I am not working we may be watching movies or playing games. As long as I don't have to get up early for an early shift we also may be trying to sleep in, so sometimes we may get more like 8 or even 9 hours of sleep. I can rarely sleep past 8 hours though, unless I am flat exhausted my body says "8 is enough" and wakes me up.

I need lots of sleep. I'm a 9-10 hour girl- I go to bed early and get up early- typically I go to bed between 8 and 9 and get up between 5-6. I was this way even in high school. My other friends would stay up all hours and sleep til noon or later- not me, in bed early!

Generally 6 1/2 -7 hours a night which isn't enough, but I get by on it.

I try to get a minimum of 7. Any less than that and I'm in a terrible mood all day and incredibly sleepy. My ideal is 9-10 hours but that happens pretty rarely!

Between 4 and 6 but I am pregnant and a mother to a 2 year old so I am a little off.

I'm lucky if I get 4 hours in a row. I have a one bedroom apartment and an old cat. She cries at night for various reasons, but mostly when she can't figure out what happened to me. Her vision and hearing are going, so she panics when she finds herself alone. There's no where I can put her so I can't hear her. I am up and down all night and don't get even 6 hours added all together.

[Note to Fergie: I'm in bed, sleeping.]

From 6-8 depending on when we get to bed. Usually from around 11 pm to 6:15 am.

LOL, I was looking for the 6-7 answer, this is me exactly! Not nearly enough, but when you get up at 5:30 it's hard to get to be early enough.

I need at least 8 hours of sleep to function. I usually get 8-9. Sometimes 10, and that makes me a real happy camper. :)
