How many hours a week do you work

expected to work 35 hours. I actually work between 45-55 hours per week.

actual worktime varies week to week. I am on call from Friday 5pm to Monday 8am and I'm off M-F. Average is about 6-8 hrs of work out of the house each weekend, plus another hour of work at home for each hour out (paperwork).

37.5 hours a week. I almost never get overtime and when it's quiting time, I walk away from my desk and don't come back until the next morning. I work from home and it's an iron clad rule. Work ends at 4:30, so unless I get a last minute phone call or a true emergency that can't wait until morning (like a passenger stuck at the airport - I'm a travel agent), I turn off the laptop and go start dinner at 4:31.

I work 50 hours a week at my day job.
I "work" another 20 hours a week in my freelance music work (rehearsals, teaching lessons, playing concerts).
I volunteer about 6 hours a week for a couple of non-profit organizations
I also do whatever DW tells me (or whatever I guess she will tell me) to do - this can take up the remaining hours.

It used to be 25-30, but since I've been back in school, I've been getting about 20 hours in. I'm in class 10 hours a week (plus maybe an equal time for homework) and do about 3 hours of volunteer work related to my field.
