How many guests - DFTW?

Just curious - how many guests did you invite to your DFTW - and how many actually came?

Well, I have no response either. I just wanted you to know you are not alone. I am soon to be engaged and I am already planning things out step by step. I was told I will be engaged by Feb 7th... until then... I wait and plan.

That's so funny that you posted this because my fiance and I were in the middle of a debate as to how many people were going to come as I opened your thread! We have invited about 120, and we are counting on 30, but will probably get more and we're currently deciding on what to do about our location and whether or not it will be big enough. It's so hard to know when you have NO IDEA how many are going to come!! Good luck to you!

this really depends on your family and friends. We have two huge disney crazed families so we expected higher numbers for our disney wedding. we invited about 120 and had 80. hth

Ahhh! We hoped to have around 100. We invited 170 and are now expecting 130! Ahhhhh! I thought less people would come in from out of town. I guess the more the merrier!

i think brides and grooms are often surprised at the turn out. Once people find out where you are having the wedding - they plan family vacations around it.

We have invited 75 people, and so far, all 75 say they are coming! We thought only about 60 would say yes. We'll see

We didnt know who would actually show up.....but didnt want to blow the budget with the guest list....so we invited 106....98 of them showed up

We invited 145 or so and about 98 have RSVPd. we were hoping for less than that, but its nice!

We are only having a small wedding with 13 guests coming they have all confirmed.

We live in Fl about 2 hrs from the mouse.
We invited close to 200 and about 105 came.
My best advice is mail out your Std's (Sounds so wrong) ASAP!
really mail them as soon as you can because it makes a big diffrence on your final price.

DL bride here, and most were coming from NorCal.

Invited 130, ±120 came. Relatives planned their vacations around the wedding!

We invited 136 all from New York and we had 100 show.

I think we ultimately invited 171, 90 RSVP'd yes and 88 came. One couple backed out last minute because she broke her leg and needed surgery. We had ALOT of obligational invites that we knew would not attend. HTH!
