I'm up to 17 people and counting. Thank goodness I got a large capacity oven earlier this year!!

I just love having a whole houseful of friends and relatives. :D

I come from a big family.
We hosted 2 years ago and will not have to host again for almost 7 years :bounce:

I never know till that day. We have an open door policy, I don't want anyone spending Thanksgiving at a restaurant so anyone can bring friends or other relatives. Most of my family will be there, some of DH's family and several friends. I would guess 20 or more.

I know what you mean, Believe!! There's always an extra table set up for the drop-in guests....friends of my daughter's, etc.

They are not coming to my house, but to my MIL's. Shas 8 children, so there are 18 adults, and 16 grandchildren, plus anywhere from 6-10 additional 'guests' drop-ins, 'Holiday Orphans' etc. Last year MY parents joined us. We generally have 3 turkeys and more side dishes than should be allowed. at one sitting.

Last year there were 12 pies

I don't really know yet....DD and DS for sure, but they could bring people with them....and none of them ever plan very far ahead.
I would just as soon cook for lots because it is just as much work ;)

We could have 30 total for dinner, but it's more likely that it'll be 26. I always host, but my family is great about bringing the side dishes. We are thinking of cooking a turkey the day before, having a ham and cooking a 23 pounder on T'Day. He always celebrate 2 birthdays then too, so there will be a B'Day cake and 4-5 pies. My older DS has told me on more than one occasion that his favorite holiday in T'Day. He have always hosted the Day!

Wow, that's quite a few. I hope you are getting some help to clean up properly, not just sweeping all the old dirt under the rug. You wouldn't want anyone to open a closet door and get the wrong idea.

Anyone that opens closets in another persons home and passes judgement on them for what they find there, should be eating a TV dinner at home on a snack table.

CJ, I plan on being a guest somewhere, so zero. LOL

As of right now, sadly enough, none. We don't have any plans to go anywhere either. A lot of my family will be going to Arizona for a trip and won't get back until the day I leave for Florida. Might be a good day to make a nice homemade pizza for the two of us :)

I don't know what I'm doing. My sil wants everyone to go to her house for the first time this year, I'm pretty sure I'm expected, but I just don't know.

We're having about 20 people. My mom and my in-laws are coming into town, and we are taking in National Guard troops that are stationed here from out of town.

I am having 16 in my new house!! We move in the weekend before Thanksgiving.....nothing like cutting it close!! I just hope I figure out how to use my new oven before the Turkey goes in...

(Just in case, my mom will cook the turkey at her house and bring it over!!!)
