I´m wrapping gifts. I´ve been wrapping 2-3 gifts at a time for a couple of days now, and now I´ve wrapped 25 but I´m still only half way there.
I always enjoy wrapping the first 15-20 gifts but after that...

How about you? How many gifts do you wrap? Do you put a lot of work into the wrapping or do you take "the easy way out" (not saying there´s anything wrong with that) and use gift bags?

I don't use gift bags unless the item is a really odd shape that I can't figure out how to wrap. I hate wrapping though and am up to like 75-80 gifts that I hav wrapped and still have more to go. BLECH! I'd pay somebody but that would be a small fortune as well. Next year, people are getting hugs.

I think I wrapped about 65-70. They look great piled up under my tree. :goodvibes

I've wrapped 13 so far but far from done - I have all the ones for FIL and from DH to wrap and don't know how many more after that

But we have kids to wrap for :santa:

I wrapped for 4 hours today & am only halfway done. I HATED every second of it! To me, wrapping is a huge chore. I'd rather be cleaning bathrooms!

I am pretty "green" so I haven't wrapped more than 1-3 presents for at least 6 years. I re-use bags and boxes year after year....my parents and i literally trade back boxes and bags at the end of Christmas so we can both re-use them again.

I work with two men who kind of just look at the wrapping paper and go "hmmmm..what now?" so I wrap the majority of the gifts for our members. Plus I'm the only one who can tie the ribbons pretty ;). I did 10 today and luckily I've gotten it down to a science so it doesn't take too long.

I love to wrap and coordinate the papers so they look pretty under the tree. It adds to the decoration to me. I don't use gift bags unless I really have to (funny shape, etc.) and then, I hide it so other presents can be seen! I've probably done 75 or so with extended family, etc, but haven't touched Santa stuff:santa:

No gift bags allowed in our family we think they're fun spoilers.

We wrap everything including stocking stuffers.

I'm on the no gift bag wagon. If it's an odd shape I find a box to fit it in.

This year, there's only about 20 gifts I wrap.

quacktatty, 150 gifts. You must have a big family!

OP, I think I've wrapped about 40. I put some things in some cool reusable tote bags I got from Herbergers store. They're made to be used in a grocery car (clips on the bags) but they look more upscale than the ordinary bags you see for purchase in grocery stores.

herc.

I probably wrapped 50 or more presents...I wrap them as I buy them so it isn't so painful. I personally love gift bags...we always have Christmas at our house so I end up with all of them to reuse :thumbsup2

I also found some awesome printed christmas boxes at micheals this year...don't need to wrap them :)

I swear I wrap enough gifts to fill the North Pole. I haven't even begun yet and I have a headache just thinking about it. I like to wrap but I have to do it late at night so the kids don't know. I know that last year I had to have wrapped over a hundred gifts. I would like to make them fancy with bows this year but we'll see.:santa:

I've wrapped 85 and have about ten gift bags. All finished except two gifts that haven't arrived yet, and one I forgot about and found today. :santa: Sooo glad to be almost finished wrapping and completely through with my shopping! The tree looks great with all the gifts around it.

I wrap EVERYTHING! I even wrap the toothbrushes in the stockings.:lmao: I love wrapping presents. Unfortunately, I am so bad at it. At some point, my kids are going to realize that Santa is a lousy wrapper, just like mommy.

Gifts that were just from me, I think I wrapped around 25.. Forgot to get a total count after I took them downstairs and locked them up in my scrapbook room..

I wrapped them - no gift bags - although I was teasing adult DD and told her I was just going to put hers in the plastic grocery bags and tie them closed.. LOL..

There was a time when I got so creative, people hated to open the gifts.. They would actually take photos of them before opening.. I used to wrap everything in white tissue paper (with red or green underneath so it wasn't see-through).. Then I would take Christmas stencils and color scenes on every package with fine and medium point magic markers.. Then came the ribbon (that I curled myself) and bows - along with some sort of decoration: candy canes; a key chain; a book mark; some other type of candy; etc.. It would take me over an hour to do each gift..

That's the definition of insanity - and that's why I don't do it anymore..:rotfl:

Now it's just wrapping paper.. No bows - DD's cat eats them..:santa:
