How many Florida DVC owners out there?

I was wondering how many people who live in Florida buy DVC?We try to go to Disney many times a year and thought it would fit nicely into our plans instead of having to drive back and forth. We also always camped at Ft. Wilderness in a tent, but I am guessing after we stay at SSR for the first time our camping days might be over.

FL has the largest number of DVC members from any of the states. NJ and NY are very close behind FL with the highest number of members.
We have homes in both NJ and FL so I guess we are part of both state's stats! LOL!

We're Fla. DVCers since '96. We love it. We do avoid weekends mostly, which saves points and us having to fight the crowds.

Originally from Northern N.J. but have lived in FL for 3yrs now. We're about an hour and a half from WDW so it's wonderful. We're far enough away to feel like we are going away when we go to WDW and close enough to go whenever the mood hits us. It's the best of both worlds!

We think DVC is even more of a benefit because we live close enough to go many times a year. It is only about a 2 hour drive but we really prefer to stay for 2 or 3 days at a time.

We love the Lightning TOO!

Moved to Fl., about 2.5 hrs. from WDW, in '86 from Bergen County, N.J. Went to WDW every so often. Joined DVC in '97 and then went 4 to 5 times a year. Bought RV and have not stayed at OKW for over 2 years but go to FW once a month. Anybody need some extra points
