How many fit...

Actually, it's a little odd.

If reserving through Disney with a cash reservation, the limit is 4.

If reserving through member services as a DVC owner, they have allowed 5.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom at the Boardwalk last year with 5 people but that is because we rented through a DVC owner.

And when DVC allows 5, the 5th must be a child and there will be no bedding, including sheets and blankets provided.

Is that a real child, or a 'Disney' child? My kids will be 15, 13, and 12.

Not sure about the age, when we asked we were told small child. And this is only if you book with points with DVC, not Disney resorts. I think if you book with DVC the 12 year old will pass.

The AKV have a king sized bed in the master bedroom, a double or queen sized sleeper sofa and a twin sized sleeper chair. So three people will be sleeping in the living room. You will get five bath towels.

If you book with DVC any other one bedroom, you will get one king sized bed and one queen sized sleeper sofa. NO BED FOR THE FIFTH PERSON, including no additional bedding, no towels. You will still only get four bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths. You have to provide the additional bedding, towels , pillows, sheets, mattress, whatever yourself. These rooms were intended to only sleep four from the beginning.

That's why Disney CRO only allows four in a one bedroom. DVC allows members five in a one bedroom, but that could change as soon as AKV's actually completely open up. Just like pool hopping was prohibited to SAB and AKL pool when BCV and AKL opened.
