How many fastpasses in a day?

Just out of curiosity, to all you fastpass maniacs:

How many FP have you been able to get in a day (even if you haven't used them all)? And what were they?

Back in 2006, there was a special promotion through AAA (probably for the 50th Anniversary) where, if you bought a Disney vacation through them, you were able to get unlimited fastpasses - you didn't have to wait until a new window opened up, if you wanted a fastpass, you could get a fastpass. So, when my family went that summer, this was especially helpful. I don't remember exactly how many we ended up getting, but it was probably close to 15 per day and we came home with a ton we hadn't used!

Since then, on a typical Disneyland trip, we usually end up with 7-8 fastpasses I think.

I probably use about 5-7.

It depends on park hours. But if you get one right away the window will open within the hour, the second one in may an hour, so you get one at T=0, one at T=45min, T=1.5 hours, T= 3.5, T=5.5, T=7.5, T=9.5, then on a long day there is T=11.5, T=11.5, T=13.5, T=15.5.

But this is assuming that return time build past the two hour limit, and that you are picking yours up right at the 2 hour limit.

We did this in one day... at the park at opening and there till closing with a 3 hour break back at the hotel in the middle...

FPs in order of collecting:

Splash
Space
RRCS (Not connected at the time)
BTMRR
BLAB
Space
GRR (Not connected)
Cal Scream
Break
Soaring
BTMRR
BLAB

So 11 for the day though did not use Soaring that day...

The trick is to go hard in the morning when return times are only 30 minutes or so and keep getting replacements when they come due... Leave BTMRR, TT, Autotpia and BLAB (no longer FP) to last as they are still issuing FPs till quite late where as Space, Indy and Splash tend to close out fairly early...

Thank you! This gives me better perspective and something to work with. I am a little concerned that ST and LM people will come in with runners who will snag up a lot of FP, but I have a few weeks to see how that all plays out. We will only need FP for SM and Indi in DL and Soarin and CS in DCA since we'll be skipping the others. When DD's a little older, I'm sure some of the others (like Autopia) will be a little more necessary, but we're not going to worry about that now.

Thank you again! :thumbsup2

Last Monday I collected these:

Star Tours
Space Mountain
Star Tours
Star Tours
Roger Rabbit
Indy

Park hop to DCA
WOC
Soarin
Screamin

Back to DL
Space Mountain
BTMRR
Indy

So 12 sets including WOC. Star Tours was out of FP by 1pm. Collecting that many ST FP only works very first thing, because you cannot get another FP for a ride until the window for your FP for that ride is open.

Just a reminder that Little Mermaid does not have a regular FP, although resort guests do get something that works like a FP for LM through the summer.

Also, I wouldn't waste a FP on Autopia, the FP return is not setup well and doesn't save you much time. If Autopia is a must do, I would do it in the morning or later at night.
