How many DVCs will be trying to book CCV at 8am on the 26th?

So, I know I will be one of the DVCers looking to change a reservation from November.

I was wondering how many others for any week will be trying the same.
 
Not the 26th, but I am thinking about trying for a GV in January. Curious to see how many there are!

I'm going to wait until later in the day and see what else has opened up from folks changing their reservations.
 
I need a new reservation for a 2 BR, 4 nights, in October. (Only DVC 2 BR left is SS for my 4 nights). WLV is my first choice, BR is booked. So I will try for CC, hoping it is available online at 8am. If not, will be calling at 9. We already have a 1 BR for the 3 nights prior, at BR, will maybe try and switch that to CC, but that is not a priority.

(we have 3 people staying for first 3 nights, then 2 more joining us, so we need to move up to a 2BR). It seems like studios will be the quickest to book up. I wold even be ok with picking up someone else BR room, if they move over to CC.

There are already some CCV buyers upset that their guides will help them get rooms at Saratoga for early December, rather than clawing back cash rooms. So while declaration may not wholly indicate bookability, there is probably relationship.

OMG phone hell once again. I do not REALLY mind being on hold for hours, I honestly can accept that, if the calls are taken in order. That is fair enough. BUT, in the past, that was not the way it has worked for me. I get on a long hold, and call is dropped after 1/2 hour, or more. Or the music stops completely, after over an hour, and I am unsure if I am still on hold or not. Meanwhile, I see people posting on social media that called after me, talking about their success. It is maddening. So I give up, and start all over. (and I did not try and call before 9). The last time, was when they opened booking for the Soarin' tour. But, it is really fresh in my mind.

I wonder if online will be available for CC at 9 am. I don't know whether to call or try online. I am only one person! LOL. I may call tomorrow to try and get a heads up.
 
Planning to try to switch 2BR from BR to CC for November 5-17. Probably not likely, but we decided to try this one time. VWL(BR) is home so no big deal if CC is it available.
 
This trip was just planned 3 weeks ago for October. (not my fault, my son and gf just decided to join us ). My home resort was already gone (no surprise, BCV). My future DIL really wants to stay at WL. They would never be able to afford to stay there. SO it so it is our first choice, well, either BR or CC. I think it will help that we need a 2BR, dedicated one hopefully.

Will waitlist of not successful and look online all day as people make switches, and try and beat the waitlist program runs. My possible backup is a cash 2BR at BW, but I really want to use points, will take SS I guess if stuck. Looks like a crazy day ahead!

I wouldn't believe a word of that.

The only link between declared and available units is that the total number of declared points will match the number of points available to book.
 
I'm trying for a studio in late Oct. for 3 nights. Just decided to go a few weeks ago so it really is our only hope for a studio- LOL
 
We will be trying for a couple of nights in Aug. So if I'm understanding this correctly, the website will open up at 9am for online booking?
 
I wouldn't count on the 9am and would check periodically after 8am or check here to see if others are getting on yet. Of course it could always stay down longer too......
 
Me! I'm going to try and switch my BRV to CCV. Right now it's showing availability, we shall see in the morning.

Where are you checking for availability? I don't see it on the member website.
