How many dvc'ers will be making their ressies this week for christmas

i called right at 9:00 am and got right thru , tried to make my ressies, but since i rented points for the wlv to stay there for christmas, my ressies has to be put in manually by a supervisor after ms closes today, but ms told me they will hold my two rooms for the ressies, i hope so i have to call tomorrow for the final results
im finding that renting points with a different home resort, for the 11 month ressies is getting to be alot of work, i wish dvc would up grade their computers, and make it alot easier.

Just finished booking our Christmas stay Dec 18-25 this morning. Didn't have any problems booking day by day.

Booked our first night 12/25/04 at 9 am. Got right through. Going to do it for 6 more nights leaving 1/1/05. Can't wait!

I start calling in the morning for our Dec 26 arrival. I am so excited even though it is 11 months away. This wil be our first holiday trip during the mad week between X-mas and New Years. Can't wait to go

We start calling on Thursday(1-29) for our 4 day OKW trip(27-30).We will also be in West Palm Beach for 4 days visiting sister's family.

I messed up and called Monday morning for my ressies 12/26- 1/2 and was so dissapointed I was a day early (especially after holding for a while) Oh well I double checked my points and June ressies while on the phone and I'll try again in the morning

Ms called today to let me know that the supervisor couldnt make my ressies last night after closing because they were down
loading a program on the computers and the supervisor was unable to make the ressies, so they will try today after closing.
bummer........
but at least i got to make my ressies day by day for the bcv dec.26-jan.2
well we will see what happens tomorrow

when were your points transferred into you account. I just had bwv transferred in today and said it takes 48 hours so when I call for a ressie on feb 2 will they have to do that manually?

is your home resort bwv?
are you making ressies 11 months out?


i own at bcv, but we wanted to stay at the wlv for christmas and then move to the bcv thru new years, so to make the ressies at 11 months, i rented points from a member that owns at the wlv,

the transfer of the points only took 24 hours, but the computer took the wlv points and change the points into my home resort bcv points, so the computer not allowing ressies to be made at the wlv at the 11 month, that is why a supervisor has to go in and make the ressies manually, and cannot be made until they close for some reason i dont understand.

I own at BWv , HH,SSR, and VB, but I rented points from someone for bw but they had to tell MS to put the points into my 2004 BW contract they called @ 9:00 am yesterday and they were there by 3:00 but I am caling on feb 2 for Dec 30, 31, & jan 1, which is also the day other members can make SSR ressies .will be a busy day

then i dont think you will have a problem making your ressies at the bwv, unless you were going to combine your ssr,hh,vb points for the ressies, you would have to wait for the 7 month.

if that is the case use all your bwv now for as many days as you need at the bwv, then use your ssr for ressies at ssr now for the rest of your stay, then if you want to move over to the bwv for your whole stay then at 7 months switch the ssr over to the bwv,
this way if there is no available at the bwv then at least your cover for the rest of your stay. and you can waitlist for the bwv when it comes in cancel the ssr and use those points for the bwv.

yeah, ms just called i have my ressies at the wlv for dec. 23-26,
2 bedroom dedicated room and dec. 23 for 1 studio.

and i have ressies at the bcv dec.26,27 a 2 bedromm dedicated and 1 studio .................

im calling again tomorrow and fri, to add on my dates..........

im so happy about the wlv, i cant wait, my family cant wait, yeah

I was able to book Dec. 19 - 25 with no problem, 2br at OKW. I can't wait - it'll be our first Disney Christmas but we're going home Christmas day to the rest of the family.
