How many DVC vacations do you have planned?

Besides the two trips listed on the countdown below I am planning to go 10/05, and at the minimum every April and October until 2042 (when I will be 88 and still young at heart!)
:flower1: :wizard: :cloud9:

usually have 1-2 planned and booked at any given time, with a couple more in tentative planning stages
for instance you can see the 2 that are already set by my counters
probably april 05 for flower and garden, bcv or bwv
then tentative cruise oct 05 with points from okw contract
and then ouir annual wdw mousefest trip that we take every year in early dec

So far, it seems like 6 is the maximum #, if I read correctly.

I've got 4 planned:
1. First week in January, 2005 at SSR and BWV with DS
2. March 13-18, 2005 in HH with DH (I suspect this is going to become an annual thing-at least I hope so)
3. May 7-11, 2005 at BCV with Mom for Mother's Day
4. December, 2005 for my annual solo trip. I'm missing my solo trip this year, so I may make up for it by going for 2 weeks. Not sure of the dates, but definitely at the BCV.

Well, that's impossible to say. I have three booked, but plan on going every May, October, and December for the next 38 years. :D

Unfortunately, I can't book that far in advance! ;)

As of this morning, our point use is planned out through 2010! Three separate trips to WDW, (2005, 2007, 2009). Of course, the hidden agenda was to determine how many (if any) additional points we need to buy!

Until we move closer, hopefully Melbourne.

As you can see we have one planned for this year, only because we wanted to go at Christmastime and that used up almost all of our points.

Then we have ressies for May (hopefully BWV at 7 months) and we have plans for a week in October, maybe at VWL.

DH & I like to plan a full week when we go. So for now that's as far as our 200 points are taking us.

I love planing our upcoming trips too!!

Oct 4 - 9 we will be at the BWV for the first time (and our first FW too!). My parents are joining us for this trip, so DS (2yrs) is going to have a blast!

Nov 4 - 7 Disney Wonder criuse. Our first cruise with DS.

Dec 12 - 15 BCV. Taking in the holiday decorations and festivities at WDW, and attending MVMCP for the first time

July 24 - 29 2005 Poly Lagoon View Concierge (on points!). My sister and I combined points form each of oud contract for this trip...I am surpising my DS (2) and she is surprising her DD (10) with this trip!

Fall 2005 - I am looking into an II trade to Italy...Keep your fingers crossed for us!!

- Tara

We have ressies for:

Oct. '04 OKW
Nov. '04 DCL and VWL
Dec. '04 SSR and BWV
May '05 BWV and VB
Aug. '05 BWV and VB

with 2 more trips for '05 planned, just waiting for 11 months.

We take short, 3-5 night, trips, but 3 of the above planned are with family and friends. We are waiting for our DGbabies to get old enough to come!!! Then we'll have to buy more points, they're in a family of 5 and they'll need a 2-bdr!

We just joined in December of 2003. Immediately we planned our first trip as DVC members to SSR for the opening week May 17-21.

We also are sending my parents in November for their anniversary - so that was a second trip (unfortunately we are not going).

I also tried to get a studio for a weekend (Oct 21-23) to go to the Funai Golf Classic and hit the F & W festival - but there were no studio rooms available. So that would have been 3 trips -

It is fun just planning trips -

You can see our two below, plus we are tossing around a 7 day cruise the week after daughter gets married in July 2006 (figured we'll need it). Only problem is son feels left out that the cruise doesn't include him and his sweetie. Oh well.

November 2004 (BWV)
December 2004 (not DVC but stretching out the AP)
April 2005 (Brief visit to the BCV then on to a 7 day cruise)
October 2005 VWL (Time for a new AP)
February 2006 (BWV)

Ok, this is what we have:

This year, two planned and booked. Feb 19-24, 2005 with DH's cousin, wife and 2 boys. August 13-20, 2005 (now VWL, but probably changing to BCV) with all of DH's family; my MIL and her SO, FIL and Step-mom, SIL, BIL and niece, and the 4 of us. (Oh please help me negotiate that one!!! )

August 2006, just DH and me for our 10th! (BCV or BW)
Dec 2006 MIL, me and the kids??? (VWL)
April or August 2007 (VWL)
November 2007 with my mom, other SIL and her mom for F&W (BCV)

Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in more trips per year as the kids get older! I love the planning though!!!

Wow! Thanks for all the replies! I feel much better knowing that I'm not the only one that "plans ahead." ;) I'm very envious of several of you because you must have a ton of points. If you ever feel that you have too many points I'll be more than happy to take some (or all) off your hands!!! ;) :D

I guess we'll be sticking to the twice a year plan until we can't fight the addonitus anymore! :)

Two trips to utilize APs from our add on:

Dec 2004 - BWV - Just the 4 of us
Oct 2005 - SSR (2BR) or OKW (GV) - us 4, mom and dad, possibly others

We are discussing early summer 2006 and a land /sea in 2007 or 2008. You're not wrong in planning it out, make good use of your 11 month window. Just make your plans a little flexible incase dates change or guests back out.

Lucky - we'll never have too many points, sorry:sad:

And as a Disney stockholder, I thank him!;)

DH and I are planning/have reservations for:

Oct. 04 @ VWL(in just two weeks!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: )
Have ressies for Jan 05 but are going to change them to May 05, destination undertermined, probably SSR
Sept/Oct. 05 HHI (will know more as soon as niece in NC decides when she is getting married!)
Have booked cruise 4/29/06 (cash, no points!)

After that, haven't determined yet. Probably back to WDW in the fall of 06.

Making plans are so much fun, just wish I could get someone to share my excitement!!

I currently have two trips in the planning stages. Trying desperately to figure just what to do.

This summer we spent 5 days at Vero Beach and my DS (almost 13) just loves the place and now wants to do it yearly, minimum 5 nights and it needs to include Tuesday and Thursday for the teen activities. My DH wants to include regular stays at the Hard Rock Hotel and Universal (3 to 4 days), and myself and DD (almost 6) want at least 10 days together at WDW. All of this together is making the planning very hard!

So with all that said, we will probably go for an 8 day trip the middle of March for 4 days at Universal and 4 days at Disney, VWL.

This summer we will be going on around May 28th returning June 12th.

The first couple of days will probably be at AKL, then we will head to Vero Beach for 5 days. From June 5 - 10 I will be hosting my extended family at SSR or OKW. There will be 22 - 24 of us there at that time. This one is easier to plan than the ones with just the four of us!

Besides those we will either do one long trip or one semi decent length trip and a shorter one every year.

Lori

We go a standard four weeks a year.

The last week in April for the Flower Festival.

The first two weeks in September to just relax.

The week after Thanksgiving to soak all of the Christmas decorations.

This also is planned around our annual passes.
