How Many DVC Points Do You Own?

200 points here at AKV. I would also love to add on but......most of you have the same problem I do....DH says NO! Don't we go enough!No you can never have enough Disney LOL I will work hard trying to get a maybe!!!!

I don't know what I'm going to do! We need more points but don't have the $$'s! Luckily I'm not using my SSR points in my 2010 UY, so I'm burning through them with events that keep coming up at the GCV!

Today, we found out about the Destination D event at DLR and got two nights at GCV and waitlisted for a third in September. If this keeps up, I'll be borrowing all my points and won't be able to go to WDW!

413 is not enough (248 SSR, 165 GCV)!

660 points at the VGC. We just bought 460 in April of 2009, we went once to the Villas for 2 whole weeks in a 2 bedroom (had to borrow from 2010), and my husband asked when we were going this year and I told him we don't have enough to go that long in a 2 bedroom again (now we are spoiled), so he said we needed to add on 200 points and did last week (haven't sent docs back yet), booked another 9 days in July and now are out of points again. Now I understand addonitis.

Considering your location and points, how often do you try and go??

DH and I normally go twice a year, April and October. Our DS's 20 and 18 are not really interested in travelling with us at this point in their lives. We tend to stay in 1BRs and do not shy away from weekends so the points do go fast. Next trip we arrive on April 11 and will be departing April 27th. We also have 14 nights scheduled for F&W. I prefer a longer trip 2-3 times a year vs. several short trips but I do like those too!
We also enjoy using our points to send family and friends.

We have 290, 185 in two contracts at SSR, and 105 at AKV. This works for us for now, though we always seem to be borrowing. Some day would like to sell the additional 25 point contract at SSR and get another 100 points at AKV. That would keep us happy in points.

In fact, when I'm in Cape May, I think of THAT as a Grand Villa, it's 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a loft area. It has one huge advantage, that is our Dogs and Grandogs are welcome

We have 160 points at AKV. Down the road a bit, we'd love to do an add on of probably another 160 points somewhere (maybe more AKV, maybe somewhere else).
