Hi,

We're going on the 12/3 Fantasy and I'm trying to find out how if there are still 2 dressier dinner nights and when they would be during the week. If someone could help me out I would be very grateful. I know about Pirate night but are there any others themed nights other than regular cruiser attire for the dining rooms?
Thank you !
T

Well, dressing up is optional.

As far as I know, there is still a formal optional and semi-formal optional night. But there is no requirement to follow the suggestion.

Formal night is usually the first day at sea. A lot of women wear cocktail dresses, and guys wear slacks and sports coats. Ball gowns and tuxedos are rare -- you'll probably see more shorts in the dining rooms on formal night than black ties. Since airlines began charging baggage fees, passengers have balked at packing dress-up clothes. They figure they're on vacation and they'll wear what they want. Still, some people still enjoy dressing up every night.

I noticed they've started calling what used to be "semi-formal" night "Dress Up Optional" now. But formal night is still the first sea day (second night) of the cruise.

So if I show up in runners, jeans and a t-shirt on Formal night I wouldn't be too out of place? :rolleyes1
