How many DISers does it take to change a light bulb?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed:idea:
14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently and call the OP a bad parent.:sad2:
7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs and having children 4 of them do not have children or lightbulbs
8 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs
9 to flame the spell checkers and say that only people who have children may respond
8 to correct spelling/grammar flames and say they let their 2 year old play with broken light bulbs
6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ...
another 6 to condemn those 6
2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp"
5 know-it-alls who claim *they* were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct
6 to email the Mods complaining that they are in violation of their "DISboards.com Guidelines"
3 to post that DIS is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb group and leave it off DIS
4 to demand that all responses about changing lightbulbs be stopped
5 to defend the posting to DIS saying that they use light bulbs in all Disney parks and resorts and therefore the posts *are* relevant on DIS
7 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is prefered at WDW, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are use at all Disney parks and resorts
8 to post URL's where one can see examples of different Mickey shaped light bulbs
4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's
5 to ask if anyone knows where they can find lightbulbs in the shape of another Disney character
2 to tell the previous 5 to do a 'Google' search
3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to Walt Disney World which makes light bulbs relevant to DIS
5 to quote all posts in their entirety and add "Me too" or :thumbsup2
10 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy and demand the DIS Mods give everyone infractions:sad1:
2 to think about canceling their next vacation over the threat of impropper lighting at WDW and blame POP Warner or People who use scooters:mad:
6 to quote the "Me too's" to say "Me three" or:thumbsup2
4 to suggest that DIS create a light bulb only section.
1 to ask what is a "FAQ":confused3
4 to say "When I was at WDW in 1981...."
9 to tell everyone how mean some DISers are and relate this post to a post from 2 years ago that went bad and after much therapy they still haven’t gotten over it.
2 Mods to threaten to close the thread and give “points” (not the good kind)
1 person earning their ears to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again...

LOL...I LOVED this part:

1 person earning their ears to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again...

I have seen some crazy posts like how to care for a newborn kitten, and the post is from 3 years ago!! Someone "opened" it back up and people were trying to help!

you forgot to add the number of post suggesting "oh tag fairy, this deserves....."

2 to write emails to Disney to make a sick boy's wish come true
20+ to make clothes children going on Make a Wish trips - for FREE
50 to give words of support to the Make a Wish parents on pre-trip reports
2 willing to make a trip over 12 hours round trip to meet a DISer
1 to recognize the awesome things DISers do for Wish Kids

this post made my day. soooo true!

you forgot

8 to post popcorn::
5 to post how you do not need to post popcorn:: you can subscribe to the thread by clicking on the top left corner (or wherever it is! i dont remember! sorry! lol)

6 to assume you are accusing THEM of having broken lightbulbs and be very offended.

Also forgot....

Talk about the cost of the replacement lightbulbs.

Which leads to the discussion of the "green lightbulbs".

Which naturally leads into the environmental argument over global warming.

Which then it is argued between climate change vs global warming.

Which leads to Al Gore and his documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth".

Which starts a political thread and now it is closed.

how about:

10 to warn of the dangers of changing lightbulbs with Pitbulls around because someone they know got bitten by a pitbull while changing a lightbulb.

1 to vehemently defend the fact that pitbulls are perfectly harmless and can in fact be very helpful in lightbulb changing.

:rotfl:;):lmao:

Someone posted something similar to this a few years ago. It really is very funny.

don't forget the 6 posters who will search for old threads about someone to call them out on any inconsistencies in their original post!

You forgot the 1 person who will post saying
THIS IS THE BEST THREAD I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG-LONG-LONG TIME!!!!
Thanks for the laugh :lmao:

Oh and the popcorn:: posters who will be waiting for the thread to implode.
