How many DIS ID's do you have?

I have 2. When I first joined the DIS, I came here strictly for planning. After our trip, I didn't come back to the boards for several months. By that time I had forgotten both my id and my password so I created a new one.

Just this one, but I don't care if people come up with a new ID to post something sensitive. Sometimes you need to talk things out and you can't do it with family and friends.

What you are referring to is a MuP, Multiple User Personality. I dont use MuPs.

On my home town board, you get people using MuPs to boost their business. They post a message like

So and So's was soo gooood last night! Great service, great food.

Then you see another post saying

Yeah, I agree, I always go there. etc

Funny thing is both have only 1 post, and they are like minutes apart. Additionally, the Mods can see IP addresses. On that board we call out MuP alerts.

Only one and I would never make up another just to post here either, To me saying what you mean even if it gets you points or banned in MO is standing up for what you believe in, and while sharing things may get personal, if you have to use another SN to share it, you probably should not be posting it anyways.

I have another, same deal as everyone else. "Archimedes" something or other. LOL I can't remember. Which reminds me. I am always logged on and my password remembered and I can't remember what my password actually is. Better figure it out before our trip in case I need to get on here for something from my Kindle.
