How many days??

Hi. I'm new to the Universal boards. I haven't been to Univ. since 2004 (we went for 2 days, but didn't stay on-site). We are planning a longer trip to Univ. next year. My kids are going to be 13 and 10 so we think that they will enjoy it more. Like many, we are used to going to WDW and usually stay there for 10 days. I want to buy the AAA passes for $85. We will stay at a Univ. hotel. I would like to know if there is enough to do if we were to stay for 5 nts? I know that often people talk about only staying for a few nts. because it is smaller than WDW. Also, I'm a little confused about the meal plan that they offer. Is it worth it? Is there a link that I could go to, to find out more about it. Thanks in advance!!!

go to the universal website for the info on the meal deal. all the details are listed there.

when i go to universal, a 5 day stay is great for me.

you will have a relaxing vacation. do the parks for partial days, explore city walk, take in a movie in city walk, play in the pool, check out the other hotels and pool hop there (it's encouraged), etc

if you are going during the summer, 5 days will be fine.

i suggest you buy the promo 7 day tickets soon. you never know when universal will pull the promo they have going on now.

since disney raised their prices as of today, you can expect the same for other theme parks would follow.

do get the tickets today.
universal has had this special promo on ther 7 day passes for a long time now.

earlier in the spring there was a promo special for the meal deal at $14.
i had planned to buy it as that was a great price.

i waited too long and it was poofed.
it went back to full price then.
