Hi everyone

We are staying at WDW (Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort hotel) for 21 days and want to see a few attractions outside Disney in Orlando too.

Deals on tickets seem to be in favour of a "ten day pass". We want to see Discovery Cove, Sea World and the space centre too. What other attractions should we see and is ten days enough in WDW?

We have never been to Disney or Orlando before. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

You should try Universal Studios. There are 2 parks there and 2 days should be enough time for that.

Discovery Cove is an all day event if you want to get your money worth. Temp. is a consideration there. When swiming with the dolphins and other fish the water temp is around 55 degrees.(burrrrrr!) You can use a vest provided but you still have legs and arms.

Sea World could take you 2 days to see everything. The gardens are the best there.

Don't forget to take time to go pool hopping to other resorts.

Have a great time.

Actually MJFox poolhopping is not allowed unless you are a DVC member and even they have rules to follow.

2BoysMum&Dad you are going to have a wonderful time on your trip! Wow, 21 days is great!! We usually do 14 days if we are just staying at WDW. We did a 20 day trip 3 years ago where we spent 14 days at WDW and then another 6 days at US. It actually was more then enough time to do everything as Universal could have been done in 2 days instead of the alloted 6 we gave it. I would recommend Sea World for one day and Universal for a couple of days. WDW is my favorite park but you really shouldn't miss Universal and Islands of Adventure since you will have a good amount of time. Some of the attractions at those parks are great and not to be missed!

If you do Universal you should really stay at one of their on-site hotels (Royal Pacific supposed to be very nice). That way you get to go to front of line for rides.

Thanks for the advice everyone. We have already booked to stay in the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort Hotel for the full three weeks. We do not want to change hotels at all during the three weeks as this will add stress and waste valuable holiday time.

We will get to see attractions at the WDW parks earlier being residents there anyway, so we benefit from getting in queues early then.

Any more tips greatfully received!

Not seeing the number in front of me, I wonder if the Annual Pass might be more cost effective with Disney? If you plan to spend more than 8 days, the Annual Passes tend to pay for themselves. So, you'd be getting two days free using my rule of thumb.

As far as other attractions...honestly, I've never visited any other attractions in Orlando! I here good things about Wet n' Wild, but don't know it compares to BB or TL.
