Hi Jim...
I was at WDW in May/2005 with my husband and our 4 little girl. I'm an absolutely WDW fan... I was there 3 different times and I will return every time I can. I suggest you a few things, some of them because my experience, others because Frommers WDW guide said them and it'e true:
- Take or
rent a stroller. Little kids get tiered of walking.
- Visit Magic Kingdom in second or third place. Children ar waiting to see Cinderella's castle, Mickey Mouse and his friends and so on there. If you go to another park first you are preparing kids for the magic.
- Use fast pass whenever you can. It's wonderful.
- Use baby-swap method if adults want to enjoy an attraction that isn't convenience for little kids.
- Be careful with 3D and 4D attractions. Kids my get scary.
- Plan Magic Kingdon and MGM day and be sure that Magical Moments, Spectromagic, Fireworks and Fantasmic! will go on. Definitively you can't loose them!!!
- When you enjoy a night attraction such as Spectromagic, be careful eating something before. When this happens you have been at park early in the morning, and at the end of the night kids are so, so tired that when you returned to the hotel they are deeply slept.
- Visit Wonderland toy-house at Disney Marketplace. It's WONDERFUL... FULL OF MAGIC.
And the most important thing... ENJOY THE MAGIC!!!
Have a very good time.
Marcela.
