How Many days so you spend at DVC per year?

So far 3 people say they spend 2.5 or less days using their DVC points.... ::::Scratching head::::::

We've been spending anywhere from 10-22 days a year in WDW with our DVC since we've joined....but we really have borrowed ourselves out too far and will be reducing that number for the next year or two. Next year we'll only spend 5 days at DVC and that will be at HH. The year after that I think we can go back to a full week to 10 days at WDW.

I think we were mainly able to do 22 days in 2002 because we banked half of our first years' points (used the other half for Magical Beginnings) and then borrowed from the following year. Plus, with our March use year its like we can almost get the use of 4 years' worth of points in one calendar year, with banking and borrowing.

We've also made the most of our points by staying in studios for short trips. That doesn't really feel like an option to me any longer with having laundry for 5 and 3 children to feed. While technically we can stay in a studio until Alethia is 3yo....it was beginning to get a bit crowded last time we did it....and the short trips are not relaxing enough for me. I think our average in the future will be 7-10 days a year, in a 1br-2br.

January = 8 nights, September = 6 nights and coming in December another 11 nights for a total of 25 nights for 2004. We have an 8 night stay planned for April 2005 and then I'm not sure when our next visit will be so I anticipate a lot less days for next year. We are splurging on a week in Hawaii in March and the 14 night Disney repositioning cruise in August so I don't know if we'll squeeze another WDW trip in 2005 or not?

We are retired so it's easy for us to find the time to spend at DVC!

Yep, about a week every other year. 7+0+8+0= 15 divide by 4 - 3.75 days. (The zero can go on either end, we Disney in odd years).

My guess is that's what all the small numbers are. The really small ones are the one week every three year people, people sharing a small contract with a few families, or people not using their points at DVC resorts.

How does one spend .5 days at DVC? The point chart only lists whole days. hehehehe

This year we had:
-6 nights in january
-4 nights in May
-9 nights in sept/oct
-8 nights coming up in december

That is 27 total, but next year will be about 20, so I averaged and voted for 23.

If you include our non points trips, we stayed another 6 nights. Making this year 33 nights
