How many days should I devote to each park?

I was thinking 1.5 days for each MK and Epcot. Is that a good amount? We have never been before.

Also, we are only going to devote 3/4 of a day to AK.

Thoughts? :yay:

To really not feel rushed and to get a good amount in I would schedule
2 days for MK
1.5 days for Epcot
1-1.5 days for MGM and
1 day for AK.

We are not even doing MGM...none of us are interested in it. But we are very excited about the other parks.

It really depends on the ages of your group and interests. My ds is 5 so we knew we'd want to spend at least 2 days at MK. we were there 10 nights, but this would be sufficient next time:

2 days MK
1 1/2 Epcot
1 AK
1 MGM- R&R and TOT are a must for me :) shows are cute. Lights stunt show was cool... fantasmic was good as well!

we also did Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Also did Disney Qwest at DTD. That was fun.

Enjoy your trip!

We normally spend 5 days in WDW and it goes like this
Day 1 MK
Day 2 EP
Day 3 MGM
Day 4 1/2 day AK and then late afternoon at DTD shopping and evening at DQ
Day 5 1/2 day EP and then end trip in MK

We usually go for 6 days and spend them like this:
2-2 1/2 MK
1- AK
1- MGM
1- 1 1/2 EPCOT
MK is our favorite park and we love to spend most of our time there. EPCOT is just so huge to get around and fit everything in it takes a little more than one day. AK and MGM we easily do in one day. Our MGM day we even go into the parks a little later and sleep in that day.

Cant wait for December to get here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We usually go for 8 days and 7 nights.

We spend 2 1/2 days at MK, 2 at Epcot, 1 at MGM, 1 at AK, and 1 entire one for pool time/exploration. We have a 2 and 4 year old, and plan alot of rest, relaxation, and pool time so as not to overdo it.

If you have the time I would schedule an MGM day. Fantasmic is not to be missed. Also star tours, the muppet show, Indiana Jones show, ToT and RnR are all great.

Epcot is our personal favorite so we spend 2 days (total time there) and 2 days at MK. We spend 3/4 of a day at AK (the park closes early) and then spend the remaining day at DTD

Since we have water park option and we're going in August we'll definitely visit some of the water parks also.

For us we were there 10 days (granted we lost 3 days due to everyone being sick)...We found that having little ones and my health condition dictated our park touring schedule...

We did...
1 Day at Downtown Disney
1/2 Day at MGM
1/2 Day Animal Kingdom
3 at Magic Kingdom
1 Day at Epcot

If we do go back to in February, we will break it down this way (providing no one gets sick  )
1/2 Day Animal Kingdom
1/2 Day at MGM
3 Days at MK
2 Days at Epcot

In past years we have had more time so have been able to visit our favoiute parks more often. This year we are going for 9 nights and will be doing the following:
2 mornings at Epcot and MK
3 mornings at AK
1 morning at MGM and BB
3 evenings at MK
2 evenings at Epcot
1 evening at AK (EMH) and Downtown Disney
2 evenings at the hotel (AKL)

We are there for 6 1/2 days, we do 1 1/2 at MK, 1 at MGM, 1 at AK, and 3 at Epcot.

MK: 2 days
EP: 2 days (3 if you REALLY want to see EVERYTHING!)
MGM: 1 (maybe 2) days
AK: 1 day

depending on how long our stay is- at minimum, we try and do

1.5 at MK
1.5 at Epcot
.75 at MGM
.75 at AK

this is at the very minimum, if you only 4-5 days. If I have more time, I spend another half day each at least at MK and Epcot and maybe a full day at the other two.

What would you suggest for 15 days? 10 of those days will be spent in the parks. Our kids will be 17, 13, 6 and 3.

Well, how many days are you working with here? Generally, when we go, we usually have a 7 day stay. I'll typically spend a whole day in each of the parks, and for the other three days I'll hop around and ride the rides that I like best from each park. Of course, I always try and do this, but somehow I seem to find myself in Epcot by the end of every night.

A lot of you really spend more than 1 day in EPCOT. With a 13,8, and 3 year old, should I plan on more than 1 day? What is there to see with the kids? Anyone with kids, do they enjoy WS?

Realistically, to see it all and not feel rushed:

1.5 at MK
1.5 at Epcot
1 at MGM
.75 at AK

That being said, you could be insane like me and be worried that....

4 at MK
3 at Epcot
2 at MGM
2 at AK

.....won't be enough for me. I'll have to sneak back to other parks for EMH at night.

I wouldn't say my 5 year old dislikes it. He's just sort of indifferent. They have the kidcot stations at every country where they can make a mask from the country you're visiting.

Kids like the boat ride in Mexico and the Maelstrom in Norway. China has a great 360 film. You could certainly do WS in half a day if you don't investigate too in depth.

It's tough to say how much time you'll need. Everyone is different. There are some that spend half the day waiting in lines because they don't use fastpass well or at all, or they just don't know the parks that well.

I am going for 7 nights/ 8 days and travelling with young children and we are doing

2.5 days MK
1.5 days Epcot
1 day AK
1 day MGM

We are taking a lot of breaks and some afternoons off.
