would you spend on a 10 day ticket? Just realized my FP window opens in 8 days and I need to make some decisions. We have 10 days in the parks - how many would you spend at each park?

Depends on the ages of those going and where I was staying.

For example...10 days with my wife staying at Boardwalk would be different than 10 days with our daughter at Polynesian.

Yup every family is different and depends on kids ages, wants, fave rides or characters, etc.

For ME, I would do 2 days AK, 2 days EP, 2 days HS, and 4 days MK but maybe use 2 of those days as half days to relax at the pool/resort. That is just for what would work for me :)

Another HUGE factor would be do you have hoppers or not. Here is an example of us on a 9 day trip staying two nights at AoA and the rest at Beach Club with our daughter.

No hoppers, it's a 13 day trip not counting travel days so already have 3 down days planned, kids are DS5 and DD8 (who is obsessed with Elsa). Staying at a value end of Jan/beginning of Feb.

If I was in your shoes I'd probably do 2 days for DHS, Epcot, and AK and then 4 at MK.... or maybe 1 at AK and 5 at MK?

Last factor to consider is dining. Do you already have Dining reservations planned certain days in certain parks? If I had 10 park days I would agree with PP and do 2 AK, 2HS, 2Epcot and 4 MK.

MK- 3 days
Epcot - 2 days
AK - 2 Days
Hollywood Studios - 2 days

Then pick your personal favorite for the last day.

I'd also look at crowd calendars, EMH, parade and firework times before making a final schedule.

No reservations - we will be sticking to QS meals.

With kids that age, I'd do more MK and less AK. I don't see what they'd do for more than a day in AK. HS isn't more than a 1-day park IMO either. If you go a 2nd day to either, I'd make it short and do a water park during the rest of the day if the weather is nice.

10 day tickets with rest days already accounted for? But my family loves the shows at HS, all the dining options at Epcot, and avoids thrill rides.

MK-4
AK-2
Epcot-2
HS-2

For our next trip we are getting a 10 day ticket (and will be there 14 days).
My kids helped decide the breakdown (they're 10 and 12).

EP-3
HS-2
AK-2

Since your kids are a little younger, I would add a day to MK and subtract from either HS or AK, whichever holds less interest for you.

Although, we had a trip when my kids were closer to the age of yours that we spent 6 days at MK and loved it!

4 MK
2 Epcot
2 AK
2 HS

However I might go one more day in Epcot at the expense of one day of HS.

When our kids were little they loved AK and Epcot. Rent a stroller of course. In particular AK as there is not a lot of shade...

I'm going with my sister for the same time for 10 days too!

We are thinking of doing 2 days each in AK and HS. The rest of the days will be split between Epcot and MK. We have park hopper option though so are planning to do rope drop and then go back to our rooms for some quiet time then picking our night time park according to ADR.

I'd love to spend 10 days in Disney, right now I'm going down for 9 days in December (5 days at Disney, 2 at Universal and 2 rest/other days). I would concentrate on MK and Epcot personally with a day of HS and AK spread in.

Since you don't have Park Hoppers or ADRs to worry about the only thing that would restrict your park schedule would be FP+. Try and get the ones that you really want (A&E M&G, 7DMT, TSMM, Soarin', etc.) and let those dictate which park on that day. I would shoot for the FP+ that you want early in your trip then the other days you can play by ear. Let the kids decide where they would like to go. With ten park days you shouldn't really have to over plan. Sometimes it's good to go with the flow. Have fun!
