How many days do you really need to do everything in DL and California Adventure Park? Is 3 days enough or should we try to add a 4th?

But seriously, 3 days of organized touring will allow you to experience most things, but I would add the 4th to get a bit more of a leisurely pace as well as a "make up" day, to repeat everything you loved, and catch what you have missed.

I agree. 3 is the minimum to feel like you saw what you wanted to see. With 4 you could also try some other things you might not have tried. Also park hop everyday as opposed to spending all day in park, then the next day in one. You can have fast passes for both parks at the same time.

Our first trip to DL/DCA we did it in two LONG days. It was off season and very little waiting in line. We left feeling we had gotten the "total experience";but decided a minimum of four would be best if we wanted to do it relaxed. Three would probably be a good compromise.

We have done the 3 day PH in the past and this last time we went we did 4. It was SOOO much better and more relaxing by adding one more day. We were able to do everything we wanted and the on the 4th day we did a few new things in the morning and re-did the things we loved the rest of the day. I think adding one more say is so worth it!

We've alway done three and I never feel like I quite got to all I wanted. Of course, I did go on my favorites a bunch. :) In June we are going for a week so I can't wait to have to the time to see things we wouldn't normally stop for. :cool1:

Depends on when you go, I went in February and two days was enough we rode everything, however in December we needed 3 days. If you go in mid July you might need a week.

Ill be there Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

3 Days is enough to see everything, but I like to have as many days as possible to do all the rides I love.

I think you have to also factor in things like kids ages - we have small kids for three days just doesn't work for us, because they like to do their favorites several times and they are slow eaters and require MANY bathroom breaks lol - Personally I agree that while you could do most things in 3 - Four is the minimum for me - it makes the pace more relaxed and I we can do EVERYTHING and our favorites more than once.

I like going for 4 days. It seems like we can everything done if that amount time. But really and honestly, we did a full week once (sat to sat) and still wanted to come back the next weekend. LOL

Yep 4 days is great. 3 is OK but 4 is definately better. You can see about 98% of it in 3-4 days going at a leisurely pace if you go on the right days so you can catch the shows & parades, and experience the rides, and watch some of the street entertainers. But if you dont get to go to DL as often... Try and pack in as many days as you possibly can. At least that's what I like to do. That way I feel like I got in the TOTAL Disney experience and didnt waste a moment.

If you know what you're doing and have experience with the place, then 2 is the bare minimum. Otherwise, the ideal stay time would be say... decades... or centuries! Even better.

I would say go for 4 if it is possible. We actually do 6 days. We live in Utah which really isn't that far away, but we don't get to DL as much as we would like to. So when we do go, we make sure we have enough time to do everything we want to do, several times. We are people who like to take our time, though. I have read all of the "battle plans" some people have for DL, and while I really admire those people for being so organized and taking so much time to figure out the best way to see/do everything, we would rather just go with the flow and hit whatever ride sounds good at the time. We also use day 6 as a shopping day. It is just a half day as we fly home that afternoon. We look through all of the shops throughout the first 5 days, and then on day 6 we go buy the things that we decided we really want. This works really well for us.

I agree with you Sherman! I can never have enough Disneyland and would spend every day there if I could!

If you can't spend your life there, then I prefer at least 4 days, at a minimum. I always feel like I got my fill after 4 days.
