I was wondering if I should do two days at BG for our trip in 2014, or if one day would suffice?

What are the crowds like mid-October? Considering the Quick Queue for the first day, to get to see everything, and maybe forgo it the second day and just pick our favourites.Or would we even need it?

We went in mid-July last year, and had planned on 2 days but only needed 1. I don't think you'll need the Quick Queue. Now, we did not see any shows, my kids were all about the coasters, but we rode every one.

We went mid June. Arrived at park open. Rode everything in the park at least once and some coasters more than once. Saw the Iceploration show. Explored the rope climbing treehouse type area and was finished before park close.

It did rain mid day so some people may have left early altering normal crowd #s, but it was a simple Florida rain for a few minutes and then gone kind of shower not an all day downpour.

Thanks! The ticket is get the second day free, so we can always do a day and use the second day if we need it if. If not, we haven't "lost" anything.

We both love big coasters though, and we enjoy shows and animal exhibits, so I'm sure we could easily fill two days now that I think about it.

If you're going in October on a Howl O scream night the park will close a bit earlier than normal to set up for the event so you might need a second day,you might also want to try Howl O Scream.

We did BG in two days Aug 2012. We stayed in St. Pete beach, which is quite far from BG, so we hit BG at opening and stayed until we were too hot or tired and then left for the beach. We would usually make it until around 2PM. We got the quick que for both days and used it alot. My teens are roller coaster fanatics and rode all of the roller coasters many times. It was worth the extra cost for us.

I am not sure what the crowds are like in Oct, so you might not need the quick que. One thing about BG is it's large and takes alot of walking to get around. We also got lost alot. It was very, very hot and not a ton of air conditioned places to escape.
