How many days do you stay at DL?

We have 3 full park days with a 1/2 each on arrival day & departure day. We are definitely able to see everything in a relaxing mode, take afternoon breaks to rest/swim, and enjoy our favorite attractions 2 & 3 times.

Lately we have been going for long weekends 3 or 4 days and we can def do it in that amount of time and that usually means CROWDED but my preference is 5 days. And that usually means enough time to do ALL the rides I want many times over and still have plenty of down time to sit and smell the roses. I like to have days where I can just sit back and relax and people watch or sit and enjoy and ice cream cone or a cup of something to drink and just relax. Sometimes we like to take one day to do things we normally wouldn't have time to do like look at shops, go to Pirate Island, go on rides we normally wouldn't take the time to etc. When you have fewer days you tend to only do the "big" things so you don't "miss" out on anything you want to do but when you have more time you can do those other things.

For example on our last trip we focused on things we had never done like Golden Horsehoe and seeing the Billy Hill show (which we very much enjoyed and am now going to take my mom to see! on our trip next month) and then going to Golden Screams (which my daughter ended up winning!!) things like that!

Normally (including this coming December) we do 6-7 days in S. Cali. Not all DL tho. This year we bought 4 day park hoppers to probably do 3 full days and a partial there. Then we either take one day and basically do a bunch of nothing or if we're feeling especially energetic we go hit another park one day like SW or Universal.

Honestly loving DL as much as I do, by the 4th day there it can be a little....ummmm much I guess. Its nice to break it up too, that helps keep it exciting.

3 Days minimum. 4 to really enjoy it. I'll be there in Feb and I am planning 7 days, but I will not spend all in DL. Probably Universal, maybe Legoland.

Last year we did 3.5 days and it just wasn't enought. Now that we have 3 kids (will be 4 and 1) we need more time. This year we are doing 4.5 days in the begining of December. Hopefully we won't have to deal with crowds too much!

3 days is perfect I can see everything and then some and repeat a whole bunch of things!
