How many days do you need to see most or all of Universal Studios?

You'll find a lot of really different views on this. Some people book Universal trips that are only 2-3 days and some people stay 2 weeks. Part of it depends on the time of year, how busy it will be, if you have Express Pass, and if you're also planning on taking a day or so at Volcano Bay.

2-3 days for us is plenty especially if you have the unlimited express pass onsite benefit

8 days for us, as first timers. We are planning to throw in alot of resort pool time, Volcano Bay and one night at Mickey's Halloween Party.

We stayed 3 nights and went to the park 3.5 days last year as first time visitors. We thought we did pretty good but didn't get to see shows that we wanted too.
It was so hot in June it was hard for us to enjoy it trying to cram in everything, especially coming off a 10 days visit to WDW. This year we are staying 8 nights and taking our time.

Honestly for me one day is enough. There's not a crazzzzzy amount of stuff to do but also we skip things like Minions, Shrek, more of the kiddie attractions. So for us its more like the headliners in each park and then we relax and have some drinks. If you want to see basically everything however 2 days is sufficient. I went last year for a Universal only trip and was there for 4 days but honestly that felt like too much for us and we just kept repeating things.

As many as you can!!!

We never get bored there and love re-riding most rides many times which is ideal with hotel EP.

4 days is a good start.......

If you're skipping Volcano Bay, 3 days is plenty. It all depends on the pace of your trip and how bored/not bored you get repeating rides.

Definitely stay at a hotel with the Express Pass.

Some on this site go for weeks and don't get bored. For us it starts to run together after 3 days.

Universal is different than Disney (I'm assuming you're mostly Disney due to your signature) in that the parks are right next to each other and the hotels are very close to the parks. It's easier to get things done faster at Universal since everything isn't so spread out.

Depends on when you're going and if you use an Express Pass...I went during an incredibly slow time, with no EP, and I essentially got all rides in a single day. If you're going at a busy time, with an EP, you should be able to get it done in about 2-3 days!

3 days with the Unlimited Express pass from HRH and a park to park ticket is all we need. We have done two days before with the pass and hopper and thought it was just enough time, but three days allows some pool time, downtime and plenty of time at City Walk.

We really like City Walk and staying at HRH. So easy to walk to the parks, great location!

We were there the beginning of March and stayed at Cabana Bay(so no express passes) and it was our first time at Universal. We are a large family with kids of all ages. We were able to do almost every single ride in both parks in one day! It didn’t seem very crowded(though I had never been so I had nothing to compare it to) so we really didn’t wait in any lines more than 20 minutes. Luckily we had only bought a one day park to park pass because we didn’t feel the need for a second day. The park hours the day we were there were 9-8.
